It is sold here with the mount your boom needs — Single Pin Mount, Double Pin Mount or Backhoe Mount — or as Drive Only for a machine that already carries one.

Choosing the Mount for Your 7DDS
Four ways to take the 7DDS on this page — three mounts and the bare drive:

Which Linkage Does It Take?
Every 7DDS takes one linkage size. The linkage is the pinned connector between drive and mount, and its size follows the drive rather than the machine. Digga specifies the 75mm linkage for 1DSS through 7DDT drives, which covers the 7DDS: HI-000393K on excavators and HI-000128K on skid steers. The 100mm linkage (HI-004242K) belongs to the 9K through 30K drives and the 130mm (HI-000046) to the SD range, so neither fits here. All three are listed under Auger Drive Mount Linkages.

HALO Alignment Kit
Any 7DDS mount choice here, Drive Only included, can be ordered with No HALO or with the HALO Alignment Kit. The name says kit, but nothing is fitted afterwards: the drive arrives with HALO built into its hood, with the extension cable and in-cab 12V plug. Green means plumb, and a sequence of red and green lights guides the operator back when the drive drifts — which matters more on an excavator, where the operator sits off to one side of the hole.
Where the 7DDS Sits in Digga's High Flow Range
Against the 6DDS, the 7DDS adds 26 percent more turning force, while asking 14 GPM rather than 12. Nothing larger is offered on the 2.5 inch hex shaft — above the 7DDS, Digga moves to the 9K drives and a bigger machine class. The 7DDT is the two-speed version of the same size at 6,308 ft-lbs, shifting between torque and speed while drilling and needing a case drain return. Max speed is 54 RPM, against 80 on the 7DDT.

Drilling or anchoring? Digga warrants this drive for 5 years on the gearbox and 3 on the motor when it is used for drilling. Used for screw anchoring without Digga's Energy Control Valve, warranty drops to 2 years on the gearbox and 1 on the motor, and covers anchoring only up to 12,000 ft-lbs. The ECV has to be specified with the drive rather than added later, so tell us before ordering if anchoring is the job.
Digga 7DDS Excavator & Backhoe Package Questions, Answered
Single pin or double pin for the 7DDS?
A single pin lets the drive hang and find vertical on its own, which is what you want for plumb holes. Two pins fix the drive to the dipper so the boom sets the angle, which is what you want for angled holes, slopes, and holding the drive steady as it collars.
Will this fit my backhoe?
The backhoe option is a cradle with linkage and pin, sized for backhoe loaders in the same 9,900 to 17,600 lb range. It is a different part from either excavator mount and is chosen on this page rather than adapted afterwards.
Why are hoses not included?
Digga supplies the high flow drives auger-only, because hose length on an excavator depends on boom length rather than on the drive. Our hydraulic hose kits come in 6, 8, 10 and 12 ft lengths in half inch and three quarter inch bore.
Which linkage do I need?
The 75mm linkage — HI-000393K for excavators, HI-000128K for skid steers. It comes with the mount packages here. If you are moving a mount over from a 9K or larger drive, its 100mm linkage will not fit the 7DDS.
Can I drill deeper than the drive reaches?
Yes, with bit extensions rather than a frame. Digga's 2.5 inch hex auger extensions and XT25 inner extensions suit the A6, RC6 and DR6 bits this drive runs. Two shorter extensions stack more practically than one long one on a machine this size.
What auger bits fit?
A6 earth auger bits, RC6 rock and earth combo bits and DR6 dedicated rock augers, all on the 2.5 inch hex hub. The 7DDS is rated to 48 inches in earth and 30 inches in clay or shale.
How is shipping calculated?
Shipping is calculated at checkout from the weight of your order and your delivery address, and the charge is shown before you complete the order. These packages ship by LTL freight on a pallet.
On delivery: inspect the crate before you sign. Note any damage on the bill of lading at the time of delivery, photograph it, and email support@eskidsteer.com — a clean signature makes a carrier claim much harder to win.

Failure to Accept Products on Delivery

After such failure to accept delivery of the goods, it shall be your responsibility to pay for and arrange a new shipping date.

Can I ship to multiple addresses?

Wrong Address:
Please review and ensure that you have entered the correct address. We are not responsible for non-delivery due to errors in the address that you provide. If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, we will refund the original order (excluding the shipping fee) and ask that you re-submit your order.

Returns
Returns
We offer returns and exchanges in limited circumstances as follows:
- In order to submit a return, you must contact us by email at support@eSkidsteer.com for us to confirm the items ordered are eligible for return or exchange;
- To be eligible for a return, you must commence the return process within 30 days of your item being delivered to you and:
- it must be unused, for example, once an item is hooked up to an attachment plate, hydraulic lines or electrical connection, it will not be eligible for return. Likewise, if your item shows any sign of use, which we may determine in our sole and absolute discretion, we will not accept the return;
- it must be in the same condition you received it in. You will be required to send us timestamped photos of the condition of your items as a condition to determine your eligibility for the return or exchange; and
- it must be returned in the same packaging or containers as it was received in.
We do not accept returns for products that were listed as final sale items at the time of purchase.
You agree to pay a 25% restocking fee on all returns, which we will deduct from any refund owing to you.
After the above referenced 30-day period, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange, under any circumstances.
If your return or exchange is approved, we will provide instructions on shipping your items back to us or the applicable supplier via email.
You agree that you shall be responsible for all return shipping costs and related expenses.
Our shipping cost to you is not refundable.
You are also responsible for ensuring the items are carefully packaged for shipment and that risk of loss or damage during return shipping shall be your sole liability. You may wish to obtain insurance while the returned items are in transit.
Lost or Damaged
If the item is damaged when you receive it, do not sign the proof of delivery, and contact us immediately at support@eSkidsteer.com. If you sign the proof of delivery form, you cannot later claim the item was lost (i.e. not delivered) or damaged on arrival.
If the item is damaged on arrival take photos of the damage with a time stamp.
In the event the item is lost or damaged on arrival, we will assist you with filing a reimbursement claim directly with the applicable supplier or shipping company as applicable. However, you agree that as we are not the direct supplier of the items, it shall be your responsibility to pursue any claims with the applicable supplier in the event your lost or damaged item is not replaced by the supplier or carrier.
