The Digga XO20IH series Auger Extensions add depth to your existing A4 or RC4 earth auger bits beyond the standard 48" overall length. Available in 2-foot, 3-foot, 4-foot, and 5-foot lengths with a 2" hex interface — matching the standard A4/RC4 hub and all Digga DSS/DDS drive outputs. Stack extensions for greater depth as required. Made in Dyersville, Iowa, USA.
| Specification | Value |
|---|---|
| Series | XO20IH |
| Hub | 2" hex |
| Lengths | 2ft, 3ft, 4ft, 5ft |
| For Bits | A4, RC4 (2" hex hub bits) |
| For Drives | 1DSS–4DDS (2" hex output) |
| Origin | Made in Dyersville, Iowa, USA |
Requires 2" hex drive output and 2" hex auger bit. Extensions connect between the drive output and the auger bit hub. Confirm total combined length (drive + extension + bit) does not exceed machine lifting capacity at the required depth.
Compatible with skid steer loaders and compact track loaders with a Universal Quick Attach (SSQA):
| Bobcat | Caterpillar | John Deere | Case |
| New Holland | Takeuchi | Kubota | Gehl |
Extensions connect between drive unit and auger bit. Confirm machine stability with extended auger column depth.

Q: How do I use an auger extension?
The extension connects between the auger drive output shaft and the auger bit hub — drive → extension → bit. For greater depth, stack multiple extensions in series. The drive rotates the extension which rotates the bit. |
|
Q: Can I use multiple extensions stacked?
Yes — you can stack extensions to achieve custom depths. Note that additional extension length increases the side load on the drive unit bearings. Contact eSkidSteer at 866-757-8337 for any questions. |
|
Q: What is the effective added depth per extension?
The extension adds its listed length to the working depth. A 2-foot extension adds approximately 2 feet of depth beyond what the bit alone provides. Subtract any length occupied by the drive unit flange when calculating effective total depth. |
|
Q: Are these compatible with third-party auger bits?
XO20IH extensions use the 2" hex interface standard. Any auger bit or drive with a matching 2" hex connection is compatible. |
|
Q: What is the weight of each extension?
Contact eSkidSteer at 866-757-8337 for any questions about weight specifications per extension length. |
