The Digga 12DDT is a two-speed excavator auger drive for 9–12T excavators machines — providing the ability to switch between high-torque/low-speed mode for hard conditions and high-speed/lower-torque mode for soft conditions, from the cab without exiting the machine. Built around Digga's compact high-torque planetary gearbox with Eaton motor and integrated PRV. 2-piece shaft design. HALO alignment compatible. Warranty: 5-year gearbox / 3-year motor / lifetime shaft pull-out. Made in Dyersville, Iowa, USA.

Q: What is the difference between 12DDT (DDT, two-speed) and the DDS single-speed version?
DDS = single-speed. DDT = two-speed with cab-controlled switching. DDT suits mixed-condition jobs where you encounter both soft and hard soil in the same session and want to optimize speed for each hole. DDS is simpler and lower cost, suited to consistent ground conditions. |
|
Q: How is two-speed controlled?
Speed is selected via an electrical switch from the cab — no exiting the machine required. Digga offers plug-and-play electrical kits for integration with most excavator control systems. See the Plug N Play Controller Kit listing on eskidsteer.com. |
|
Q: What mount do I need?
Excavator-specific pin bracket for your machine's dipper arm. Contact eSkidSteer at 866-757-8337 for any questions. |
|
Q: Can DDT be converted to anchoring?
Yes with ECV (Energy Control Valve). Contact eSkidSteer at 866-757-8337 for any questions. |
|
Q: Is HALO required for two-speed operation?
No — HALO is an optional add-on for any Digga drive (single or two-speed) providing plumb alignment indication. It is independent of the speed system. |
