The Digga RC8 is an excavator auger bit for combination rock and earth drilling, supplied here on a 3" hex hub for the larger excavator drives. It runs the same B7 taper-tooth head as the RC6 but on a heavier body with thicker flighting, which is what lets it take the torque a 13–16 tonne machine puts through it. Thicker flights are the difference between a bit that survives a season and one that folds.

Diameter guidance: the RC8 spans 9" to 48". On a 13–16 tonne excavator the larger sizes are usable, but check the maximum auger diameter your drive publishes before you order the biggest heads.
Which Digga Drives Take the RC8?
Supplied on a 3" hex hub for the 13DDS and 16DDS class. Digga lists the RC8 as suiting 9DDS through 16DDS drives; the smaller two use a 2.5" shaft, so check your drive’s output before you order. XO25 and XT25 extensions add depth.
What Machine Do I Need?
The RC8 is an auger bit, not a machine attachment — it fits the auger drive, and the machine underneath is whatever runs that drive. It needs a Digga drive with a 3" hex output shaft — the 13DDS, 16DDS, 13DDT or 16DDT. The 9DDS and 12DDS use 2.5" hex and would take an adapter.

Will the RC8 fit my 9DDS?
Not directly. The 9DDS uses a 2.5" hex output shaft and this listing supplies the 3" hex hub, so you would need a 2.5" female to 3" male adapter. Digga stocks those, though the adapter then becomes the limiting connection in the assembly.
Are the teeth and pilot included?
Yes. Every Digga auger bit ships with pin, clip, teeth and pilot fitted. All of those are consumable and replaceable individually, so a worn head is a wear-part order rather than a new bit.
Does a 12" auger really drill a 12" hole?
That is what Digga’s TRU-CUT head geometry is for. Many augers cut oversize, which means every hole gets backfilled with more concrete than the design called for. Holding the nominal diameter is a direct materials saving across a pier job.
How do I drill deeper than the bit length?
Digga XO25 and XT25 extensions stack in one-foot increments, which is cheaper than buying a longer auger for occasional deep holes and easier to transport. They fit between the drive and the RC8.
RC8 or A8?
The A8 is the general-purpose earth auger with flat teeth; the RC8 is the taper-tooth combination bit. Same body and flighting, different head. Pick the RC8 if fracturable rock is part of the job.
How is shipping calculated?

Can I ship to multiple addresses?

Wrong Address:
Please review and ensure that you have entered the correct address. We are not responsible for non-delivery due to errors in the address that you provide. If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, we will refund the original order (excluding the shipping fee) and ask that you re-submit your order.

Returns
Returns
We offer returns and exchanges in limited circumstances as follows:
- In order to submit a return, you must contact us by email at support@eSkidsteer.com for us to confirm the items ordered are eligible for return or exchange;
- To be eligible for a return, you must commence the return process within 30 days of your item being delivered to you and:
- it must be unused, for example, once an item is hooked up to an attachment plate, hydraulic lines or electrical connection, it will not be eligible for return. Likewise, if your item shows any sign of use, which we may determine in our sole and absolute discretion, we will not accept the return;
- it must be in the same condition you received it in. You will be required to send us timestamped photos of the condition of your items as a condition to determine your eligibility for the return or exchange; and
- it must be returned in the same packaging or containers as it was received in.
We do not accept returns for products that were listed as final sale items at the time of purchase.
You agree to pay a 25% restocking fee on all returns, which we will deduct from any refund owing to you.
After the above referenced 30-day period, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange, under any circumstances.
If your return or exchange is approved, we will provide instructions on shipping your items back to us or the applicable supplier via email.
You agree that you shall be responsible for all return shipping costs and related expenses.
Our shipping cost to you is not refundable.
You are also responsible for ensuring the items are carefully packaged for shipment and that risk of loss or damage during return shipping shall be your sole liability. You may wish to obtain insurance while the returned items are in transit.
Lost or Damaged
If the item is damaged when you receive it, do not sign the proof of delivery, and contact us immediately at support@eSkidsteer.com. If you sign the proof of delivery form, you cannot later claim the item was lost (i.e. not delivered) or damaged on arrival.
If the item is damaged on arrival take photos of the damage with a time stamp.
In the event the item is lost or damaged on arrival, we will assist you with filing a reimbursement claim directly with the applicable supplier or shipping company as applicable. However, you agree that as we are not the direct supplier of the items, it shall be your responsibility to pursue any claims with the applicable supplier in the event your lost or damaged item is not replaced by the supplier or carrier.
