Unlock your attachments with this smart John Deere 3-pin to Cat/Terex/ASV skid steer adapter. Instead of parking a perfectly good John Deere 3-pin controlled attachment, you can now run it on your Caterpillar, Terex or ASV skid steer or track loader using this plug-and-play electrical harness. Simply connect one end to your Cat/Terex/ASV machine and the other to your attachment’s 3-pin connector, power up in the cab, and get to work.
This adapter is ideal for operators and contractors who run a mixed fleet but want to keep using their John Deere 3-pin attachments without rewiring, guessing at pinouts or hacking into their factory harness. It helps reduce downtime, keeps your machine wiring intact, and lets you move attachments between brands more easily for snow work, brooms, grapples and other two-function tools.
Important Electrical Note: The John Deere 3-pin system provides only 2 switched functions. This connector is different from the standard 14-pin setups used on many other brands. Caterpillar / ASV / Terex machines provide 4 electrical ports, but this adapter can only pass through the two functions supported by the John Deere 3-pin standard. You will see only 3 pins installed in the connector: left, right and a single ground. This is a manufacturer limitation, not a restriction added by this product.
If you intend to re-pin or adjust multiple attachments, remember that we include single-use pin tools with this adapter. For shops, dealers and heavy users who work with these connectors every day, stepping up to our commercial-duty tools will save time and hold up better in professional service environments.
Both ends of this product are built to factory pin specifications with original factory parts. We cannot guarantee that your machine was ordered with all of the factory controls, nor can we guarantee that your attachment is pinned accordingly as well. This is especially evident with auction attachments or second hand items bought on the internet. We include tools and instructions on moving pins to make everything align.
This adapter is compatible with most John Deere 3-pin attachments that only require two switched electrical functions. Attachments that need more than two functions are not supported by the 3-pin system.
