Here's a Genius idea. Why not allow people with John Deere 3 Pin controlled attachments run them on their Bobcat Skid Steer Loader? This adapter does just that. Just plug one end into your Bobcat 14 Pin Connection and plug the other into your attachment equipped with a 3 pin connector. Turn on your machine and get to work. This is another Genius product. The best ideas at the best prices.
Also works with Cat-D Series, Kubota, Case, Gehl, Mustang, Takeuchi, New Holland 14 pin.
Note: John Deere 3 Pin outputs only 2 switched ports.
Both ends of this product are built to factory pin specifications with original factory parts. We cannot guarantee that your machine was ordered with all of the factory controls, nor can we guarantee that your attachment is pinned accordingly as well. This is especially evident with auction attachments or second hand items bought on the internet. We include tools and instructions on moving pins to make everything align.
This adapter lets you run John Deere 3-pin controlled attachments on a Bobcat skid steer loader by converting the Bobcat 14-pin machine connection to a 3-pin attachment connection. Just plug it in on both ends and you are ready to work without rewiring your attachment.
It is designed to plug into Bobcat 14-pin machines and operate John Deere 3-pin controlled attachments. It can also be used with other 14-pin machines such as Cat D-Series, Kubota, Case, Gehl, Mustang, Takeuchi, and New Holland that follow the common 14-pin standard.
The John Deere 3-pin setup provides two switched control ports. This means you can typically run two functions on the attachment, such as left/right, open/close, or up/down, depending on how your attachment is pinned.
No wiring modifications are required for machines and attachments that are pinned to the correct factory standards. You simply plug the adapter into the 14-pin machine connector and the 3-pin attachment connector. Pin changes are only needed if your attachment has been repinned or modified by a previous owner.
The adapter is built to factory pin specifications, but it cannot add control functions that your machine wasn’t ordered with. If your skid steer does not have the appropriate buttons or switches installed, you may not be able to activate all available functions on the attachment.
Used or auction attachments are sometimes repinned or modified from factory spec. In those cases, you may need to move pins in either the machine-side or attachment-side connector so the controls line up correctly. Tools and general instructions are provided to make this alignment easier.
The product line includes single-use tools and instructions to help you move pins when necessary. For frequent repinning or shop use, a commercial-duty Deutsch or connector tool is recommended for faster and more durable performance.
Both ends are built to factory pin specifications using OEM-style components. When used on compatible machines and correctly pinned attachments, the adapter is designed to operate safely and reliably without damaging hydraulic or electrical systems.
