Q: Why do I need to specify my telehandler make, model, and year?
The quick attach mount on the MDBT bucket is configured to match the specific geometry and coupler dimensions of your telehandler's quick attach system. Unlike fork slot buckets that are universal, the quick attach bucket provides a rigid, integrated connection that requires machine-specific fitment. Haugen builds or configures the mount for your machine at order time. |

Q: What is the difference between the MDBT (standard) and MSBT (high capacity) versions?
The MDBT is the standard capacity, low-profile bucket with 30" bucket height and 38" inside depth — capacities from 0.90 cu yd (60") to 1.60 cu yd (102"). The MSBT is the high-capacity version with the same width range but larger bucket height and volume — the MSBT 96 is rated at 2.05 cu yd and the MSBT 102 at 2.15 cu yd vs the MDBT's 1.60 cu yd. Choose MSBT for light material (snow, mulch, loose debris) where volume per cycle is the priority. Choose MDBT for heavier material (dirt, gravel, demolition fill) where the lower center of gravity and standard profile is preferred. |
|
Q: Can I order sizes other than 60", 72", 96", and 102"?
Yes — Haugen offers other sizes on request. Contact eSkidSteer at 866-757-8337 or specify your required width when ordering. Standard sizes are the most commonly stocked, but custom widths are available. |
|
Q: Note on SKU naming — MBDT vs MDBT
The workbook lists these SKUs as MBDT 60/72/96/102. Haugen's own spec sheet and lecinfo.com (the Product Link) list these as MDBT 60/72/96/102. This appears to be a transposition in the workbook (B and D switched). The Haugen spec sheet is authoritative. Recommend correcting workbook SKUs to MDBT to match Haugen's published model numbers. This flag is noted in the Variant Discrepancy Notes. |
|
Q: What material is this bucket suitable for?
The MDBT/MSBT series is described by Haugen as ideal for construction site cleanup, light material handling, and general earthmoving. It is designed for the full range of typical telehandler bucket applications: dirt, fill, gravel, demolition debris, snow (high-capacity models), and general site material. It is not a specialized rock bucket or a concrete bucket — for those applications, see Haugen's skeleton rock bucket and concrete hopper respectively. |
|
Q: Is this attachment made in the USA?
Yes — all Haugen Attachments products are made in the USA at Marv Haugen Enterprises in Casselton, North Dakota with quality American steel. "Think Quality - Think Safety - Think Haugen." |
