⚠ What the Tele-Tach Is For — and What It Must Not Be Used With
This is the most important thing to know about the Tele-Tach, and it is Haugen's own specification rather than a general disclaimer.
Use it with: material buckets, augers, brooms and similar ground-engaging attachments.
Never use it in conjunction with: a work platform or a truss jib. The Tele-Tach is not intended to support a load or personnel.
It is not a permanent conversion. Haugen is explicit that the Tele-Tach is intended for non load-bearing skid steer attachments, and that your original telehandler fork carriage should remain the tool you use for carrying loads and for general daily work. Fit the Tele-Tach for the ground-engaging task, then go back to the fork carriage.
🔑 Why a Machine-Specific Mount Matters
- Skid steer attachments are a far larger and cheaper market than telehandler-specific ones. A telehandler-mount bucket or broom is a specialist order. The same tool in SSQA is a stock item from dozens of makers. For ground-engaging work, the Tele-Tach is what puts that market within reach of a machine you already own.
- Fifteen mounts instead of one universal plate. Telehandler carriages are not standardised — a Skytrak coupler, a JCB Q-Fit and a Bobcat Versahandler carriage are different shapes. Each Tele-Tach is built for one of them, so the plate sits against the carriage it was made for rather than bridging several geometries.
- The leveler keeps the attachment square as the boom moves. A telehandler carriage changes angle through the boom's arc. The zinc-coated leveler and springs let the attachment plate pivot so a bucket edge or broom face holds its working angle instead of tipping as the boom extends.
- Nothing on the machine is modified. The Tele-Tach mounts to the existing carriage connection points, so fitting one does not change or commit your telehandler.

Once fitted, this skid steer quick attach adapter accepts standard Universal Skid Steer Quick Attach attachments — within the ground-engaging category Haugen specifies. Material buckets, augers and brooms are the named uses.
The Tele-Tach makes the mechanical connection only. It carries no hydraulic couplers, so a powered attachment such as an auger or sweeper still needs its hoses run to your telehandler's auxiliary circuit, exactly as any other powered attachment would.

❓ Tele-Tach FAQs
Why can't I use a work platform or a truss jib on the Tele-Tach?
Both lift loads or people, and the Tele-Tach is not intended to support either. A work platform or truss jib is certified as a complete load path running from the attachment through to the machine carriage; putting an intermediate coupler in the middle of that path adds a connection the certification never covered. For lifting work, use Haugen's purpose-built telehandler platforms and truss jibs on the machine's own carriage.
Does the Tele-Tach permanently convert my telehandler?
No, and it is not meant to. Haugen's guidance is that the original fork carriage stays the machine's tool for carrying loads and general daily work. The Tele-Tach goes on when you need to run a ground-engaging skid steer attachment, and comes off afterwards. Nothing on the telehandler is modified either way.
How do I run a hydraulic attachment through it?
The Tele-Tach makes the mechanical quick-attach connection and nothing else — there are no hydraulic couplers on it. An auger, sweeper or any other powered attachment is plumbed to your telehandler's auxiliary circuit directly, the same way you would connect any powered telehandler attachment.
What does the leveler actually do?
A telehandler carriage tilts through the boom's arc, so an attachment fixed rigidly to it changes angle as the boom extends or lifts. The zinc-coated leveler and its springs let the attachment plate pivot against that movement, holding a bucket edge or broom face at a steadier working angle without constant correction from the cab.
My carriage isn't one of the fifteen — what now?
Haugen makes additional mounts beyond the standard range, including for older and less common machines. Order the closest match to your coupler style and add your make, model and year in the order notes; we verify the mount against your machine before it ships and sort out any difference then.

Failure to Accept Products on Delivery

After such failure to accept delivery of the goods, it shall be your responsibility to pay for and arrange a new shipping date.

Can I ship to multiple addresses?

Wrong Address:
Please review and ensure that you have entered the correct address. We are not responsible for non-delivery due to errors in the address that you provide. If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, we will refund the original order (excluding the shipping fee) and ask that you re-submit your order.

Returns
Returns
We offer returns and exchanges in limited circumstances as follows:
- In order to submit a return, you must contact us by email at support@eSkidsteer.com for us to confirm the items ordered are eligible for return or exchange;
- To be eligible for a return, you must commence the return process within 30 days of your item being delivered to you and:
- it must be unused, for example, once an item is hooked up to an attachment plate, hydraulic lines or electrical connection, it will not be eligible for return. Likewise, if your item shows any sign of use, which we may determine in our sole and absolute discretion, we will not accept the return;
- it must be in the same condition you received it in. You will be required to send us timestamped photos of the condition of your items as a condition to determine your eligibility for the return or exchange; and
- it must be returned in the same packaging or containers as it was received in.
We do not accept returns for products that were listed as final sale items at the time of purchase.
You agree to pay a 25% restocking fee on all returns, which we will deduct from any refund owing to you.
After the above referenced 30-day period, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange, under any circumstances.
If your return or exchange is approved, we will provide instructions on shipping your items back to us or the applicable supplier via email.
You agree that you shall be responsible for all return shipping costs and related expenses.
Our shipping cost to you is not refundable.
You are also responsible for ensuring the items are carefully packaged for shipment and that risk of loss or damage during return shipping shall be your sole liability. You may wish to obtain insurance while the returned items are in transit.
Lost or Damaged
If the item is damaged when you receive it, do not sign the proof of delivery, and contact us immediately at support@eSkidsteer.com. If you sign the proof of delivery form, you cannot later claim the item was lost (i.e. not delivered) or damaged on arrival.
If the item is damaged on arrival take photos of the damage with a time stamp.
In the event the item is lost or damaged on arrival, we will assist you with filing a reimbursement claim directly with the applicable supplier or shipping company as applicable. However, you agree that as we are not the direct supplier of the items, it shall be your responsibility to pursue any claims with the applicable supplier in the event your lost or damaged item is not replaced by the supplier or carrier.
