The Haugen HSP skid steer snow pusher is a heavy-duty box pusher for skid steers, available in three widths (84", 96", 120") with two cutting edge options (steel or rubber) and an optional pull-back upgrade — 12 variants total. All models are 30" tall and 38" deep with AR-400 skid shoes, 3/8" heavy-duty side plates, and a powder-coat finish. The steel cutting edge is a 1/2" x 6" reversible hardened blade. The rubber cutting edge is a 1.5" x 10" adjustable, reversible rubber strip. Both edges are adjusted independently or via the skid shoe height. The optional pull-back attachment is ideal for clearing snow tight against doors, curbs, and walls. Universal Quick Attach. Made in USA with a 1-year warranty.

The HSP uses the Universal Quick Attach system. Pull-back models require one auxiliary hydraulic circuit on the skid steer for the pull-back cylinder. Verify your machine has a working auxiliary circuit before ordering the pull-back option. All models mount and dismount in seconds via the universal plate.
Compatible with skid steer loaders and compact track loaders with Universal Quick Attach:
| Bobcat | Caterpillar | John Deere | Case |
| New Holland | Takeuchi | Kubota | Gehl |
Also fits tractors with a universal skid steer quick attach adapter.

Q: Should I choose the steel or rubber cutting edge?
Steel edge: best for packed snow, ice, and compacted conditions where you need maximum scraping force. The hardened 1/2" x 6" steel blade cleans down to pavement. Rubber edge: best for delicate surfaces (pavers, stamped concrete, decorative asphalt), areas with uneven pavement (speed bumps, expansion joints, grates), and situations where surface protection is a priority. The rubber deflects over obstacles rather than catching and creating shock loads. |
|
Q: How does the pull-back option work?
The pull-back is a hydraulic attachment that uses your skid steer's auxiliary circuit to move a second moldboard toward the machine on the return stroke. After pushing snow forward, you can hydraulically pull snow back against the pusher box — useful when clearing snow that's up against a building wall, loading dock door, or curb where you can't make a forward pass. It requires one auxiliary hydraulic circuit on your skid steer. |

Q: What are AR-400 skid shoes and why do they matter?
AR-400 (Abrasion Resistant, 400 Brinell Hardness) is a high-hardness steel alloy specifically engineered for wear resistance. Standard mild steel used in budget pusher shoes runs 120–180 BHN; AR-400 is more than twice as hard, giving it 3–4x longer service life on concrete and asphalt. This matters on commercial plowing accounts where pushers run for hours per storm — the shoe is often the first wear component on a snow pusher. |
|
Q: How are the cutting edges adjusted?
Steel edge: raise or lower the skid shoe to adjust the steel edge height relative to the ground. Rubber edge: the rubber can be adjusted independently by loosening and repositioning it in its mounting channel, or you can adjust it via the skid shoe height like the steel edge. Both edges are reversible — when one side wears, flip the edge to expose the fresh side. |
|
Q: What is the largest width available and will it work on my machine?
The largest standard width is 120" (10 feet). This width is suitable for full-size skid steers (typically 74+ HP, 2,500+ lb rated operating capacity). Always verify the pusher weight does not exceed your machine's auxiliary circuit pressure rating for pull-back models. The 84" is appropriate for mid-size machines; the 96" for full-size; the 120" for high-capacity machines with adequate counterweight. |
