The Haugen M3PA is a skid steer 3-point adapter that converts your skid steer's Universal Quick Attach to accept Category 1 and Category 2 three-point hitch implements — hay spears, blades, scoops, snow blades, rotary cutters, tillers, and hundreds of other tractor implements. Compact design maximizes lifting capacity. Available with a window (better visibility) or solid with welding holes. Weight: 155 lbs. Universal QA mount. Made in USA with a 1-year warranty.

The M3PA mounts to any Universal Skid Steer Quick Attach (SSQA). No hydraulics required for the adapter itself — the three-point implement attaches mechanically. If the implement has its own hydraulics (cylinder lift, motor, etc.), your skid steer must have the appropriate aux circuit to power it. The M3PA adds 155 lbs to your machine's carried weight before the implement — account for this in ROC calculations.
Compatible with all skid steer loaders and compact track loaders using Universal Quick Attach (SSQA):
| Bobcat | Caterpillar | John Deere | Case |
| New Holland | Takeuchi | Kubota | Gehl |
No aux hydraulics required for the adapter. The 3-point arm positions are fixed — implements are lifted and lowered by the skid steer's loader arms, not by an independent lower-link hydraulic. Implements with their own hydraulic functions require the machine to have appropriate aux circuit outputs.

Q: What types of implements does the M3PA support?
The M3PA supports any standard Category 1 or Category 2 three-point implement. Common examples: hay spears, snow blades, box blades, landscape rakes, scoops, rotary cutters, tillers, post drivers, and spreaders. If the implement has Category 1 or Category 2 mounting points, it will fit the M3PA. |
|
Q: What is the difference between the window and solid versions?
The window version has a cutout in the adapter plate that provides a downward sightline from the cab through the adapter to the implement working area. This improves operator visibility when doing precision work (snow blading near objects, raking near borders). The solid version with welding holes allows you to weld additional components or custom implements directly to the adapter plate. Both are structurally equivalent. |
|
Q: Does the M3PA allow independent height adjustment of the three-point arms like a tractor?
No — the M3PA does not have hydraulic lower links or a top link adjustment cylinder. The implement attaches mechanically at fixed positions, and the height is controlled by the skid steer's loader arm lift. This means the three-point implement follows the loader arm arc, not an independent lower-link arc. For implements where link angle matters (tillers, rotary cutters), the resulting working angle may differ from tractor-mounted operation. |
|
Q: What is the weight capacity of the M3PA (what implements can it support)?
The M3PA itself does not have an independent rated capacity — the limiting factor is your skid steer's rated operating capacity at the appropriate load center, minus the 155 lb adapter weight. The M3PA is built with quality steel to match or exceed typical 3-point implement weights; contact Haugen at 877-580-6218 if you have a specific heavy implement and want confirmation it is within the adapter's design scope. |
|
Q: Can I use hydraulic 3-point implements with the M3PA?
Yes — if your skid steer has appropriate aux circuit outputs, you can connect hydraulic functions on the implement (cylinder, motor) to your machine's aux ports. The M3PA itself does not manage hydraulic connections — you must route your own hydraulic hoses from the implement to your machine's aux ports. |
