Haugen's mini skid steer pallet forks cover three carriage mount types for the 42" fork configuration: MPF-T42 (Toro/Dingo plate mount, 1.18"×3"×42" tines, 182 lbs, 2,200 lb capacity), MPF-MT42 (Bobcat MT 55/85 plate mount, 1.18"×3"×42" tines, 182 lbs, 2,200 lb capacity), and HPF-C42 (Compact Skid-Steer mount, 1.8"×3"×42" tines, 220 lbs, 2,200 lb capacity). All feature a 36" rail-style frame, reinforced gussets, and 2,200 lb lift capacity. Made in USA.

Select the correct mount for your machine: MPF-T42 for Toro/Dingo-style mini skid steers; MPF-MT42 for Bobcat MT 55 or MT 85; HPF-C42 for compact skid steers with standard SSQA. If your machine is not listed, contact Haugen at 877-580-6218 for alternative mounts.
Designed for mini skid steers and compact machines:

Select the plate mount matching your machine. Verify machine rated operating capacity against fork + load weight before use. 2,200 lb rated fork capacity; actual usable load limited by machine ROC.

Q: Which mount do I need?
MPF-T42: for Toro Dingo and Dingo-compatible mini skid steers. MPF-MT42: for Bobcat MT 55 and MT 85 mini track loaders. HPF-C42: for compact skid steers with standard SSQA. If your machine uses a different attachment system, contact Haugen at 877-580-6218 — other mini loader mount configurations may be available. |
|
Q: What is the rated capacity?
2,200 lbs rated capacity on all three models. The rated capacity of the forks (2,200 lbs) typically exceeds the host machine's own rated operating capacity — the machine ROC is always the binding limit. Never exceed the machine's ROC regardless of fork capacity. |
|
Q: What pallet sizes can the 42" forks handle?
42" tines handle standard GMA pallets (48"×40") and most other 40-48" deep pallets. The fork tines must penetrate at least halfway through the pallet for stable lifting — 42" tines enter 42" on a 48" deep pallet, providing good penetration. For longer pallets (>48"), consider longer fork options from Haugen. |
|
Q: Is the fork spacing adjustable?
Yes — the rail-style frame allows the forks to slide along the rail for spacing adjustment. This allows the operator to match fork spacing to pallet pocket widths or to move forks outside the pallet for carrying loose material. |
|
Q: What is the difference between HPF-C42 and MPF-T42 beyond the mount?
The HPF-C42 uses 1.8"×3" tines vs 1.18"×3" on the MPF-T42 and MPF-MT42. The thicker tines on the HPF-C42 add structural capacity appropriate for the larger compact skid steer mount. The HPF-C42 also weighs 220 lbs vs 182 lbs, reflecting the heavier mounting hardware for full-size SSQA. |
