The Haugen MPF/MHPF Skid Steer Pallet Forks are rail-style pallet fork frames for skid steer loaders, available in two capacity classes — 5,000 lbs (MPF, 1.5" x 4" tines) and 6,000 lbs (MHPF, 1.75" x 4" tines) — and two frame styles: Standard 10-bolt frame and Walk-Through frame with integrated step. Tine lengths range from 42" to 72". Unlike economy pallet fork frames, Haugen builds these with heavy-duty reinforced top and bottom rails and brick guards set at a 10-degree angle to maximize skid steer rollback for improved load support. Tines are flush with the brick guard face for true in-line load support. Tine spacing is adjustable 0–45". Optional 60" wide brick guard and bolt-on steps available. Made in USA with a 1-year warranty.

| Origin | Made in USA |
The MPF/MHPF uses the Universal Quick Attach system. No secondary adapter needed. Verify your skid steer's rated lift capacity does not fall below the maximum combined load (forks + payload) you plan to carry. For machines with lower lift capacities, the MPF 5,000 lb series preserves more usable payload margin than the MHPF 6,000 lb series.
Compatible with skid steer loaders and compact track loaders equipped with a Universal Quick Attach system, including:
| Bobcat | Caterpillar | John Deere | Case |
| New Holland | Takeuchi | Kubota | Gehl |
Compatibility is determined by mount type — confirm your machine's Universal Quick Attach configuration before ordering.

Q: What is the difference between the -10 (Standard) and -WT (Walk-Through) frames?
The Standard (-10) frame uses a solid bottom rail connecting the two tine mount points — it provides maximum frame rigidity and is the most common choice. The Walk-Through (-WT) frame removes the solid lower section to create a pass-through opening between the tines, allowing the operator to walk between the forks and the skid steer without dismounting for inspection or small operations. Both frames offer the same capacity, the same brick guard design, and the same tine adjustment range. |
|
Q: What is the difference between MPF (5,000 lb) and MHPF (6,000 lb)?
The MPF uses 1.5" x 4" tine cross-sections and is rated at 5,000 lbs combined capacity. The MHPF uses heavier 1.75" x 4" tines and is rated at 6,000 lbs combined capacity. The MHPF is also available in longer 60" and 72" tine lengths that the MPF series does not offer. Choose MHPF for heavier industrial pallet loads (machinery, steel, equipment) or for longer tines needed for deep loads. |
|
Q: Why does it matter that the tines are flush with the brick guard?
On economy pallet forks, the tine face sits set back from the brick guard face — when you tilt the load back, the load rests on the brick guard plate but the tines provide limited support at the load face. On Haugen's design, the tine face is flush with the guard face so the load contacts both the guard and the tines simultaneously, giving more distributed support and reducing stress on the individual tine-guard weld joints. |
|
Q: Can I add a wider brick guard or bolt-on steps?
Yes — the MPF/MHPF frames accept an optional 60" wide brick guard for wider loads and optional bolt-on steps for easier cab access. Contact eSkidSteer at 866-757-8337 or specify when ordering. |
|
Q: What tine length should I choose?
Choose based on your most common load depth. The 42" tine handles most standard 40" pallets. The 48" tine covers standard GMA 48" pallets. The 60" and 72" tines (MHPF only) are for long loads, deep racks, or applications where additional tine insertion depth is needed for stability. Longer tines add weight and reduce usable machine lift capacity. |
|
Q: Are these the same forks used by rental companies?
Yes — Haugen's skidsteersdirect dealer listing specifically notes that rental fleets choose these forks for their fleet because of the heavy-duty rail construction. The reinforced frame geometry survives daily abuse cycles from repeated machine cycling, load drops, and general job-site use better than economy fork frames with thinner rails. |
