The best ideas at the best prices.
*Bobcat - There are only 4 control pins installed because CAT ABC series only have 4 controls installed in the machines. If you need additional controls, check out our Injector controller which will add two momentary controls and two locking controls to your CAT ABC Series machine.
Note: Bobcat 14 Pin outputs 6 switched ports. Caterpillar/ASV/Terex only outputs 4 ports. You will notice that this adapter has 6 pins installed. Up/Down & Left/Right are all that is available along with 2 grounds. This is a manufacturer limitation and not something that we have introduced.
ASV Users: PLEASE READ - The 8 pin side of this product was designed for Caterpillar ABC Series machines which use Pins ABCDEH. To use this on ASV machines you will need to move Pin H to G for full operation. We supply the tools in the kit and instructions are in our Video section of the web site.
If you plan on moving a lot of pins on your attachment, please note that we supply free single use tools. If you want something more, please click below for the commercial version of these tools.
Both ends of this product are built to factory pin specifications with original factory parts. We cannot guarantee that your machine was ordered with all factory controls, nor can we guarantee that your attachment is pinned accordingly. We include tools and instructions on moving pins to make everything align.
This adapter lets you run Bobcat 14-pin attachments on Cat, Terex, or ASV skid steer loaders that use the 8-pin machine connector. One end plugs into your Cat/Terex/ASV loader, and the other plugs into your Bobcat-style 14-pin attachment so you can connect and go to work without rewiring.
The adapter is designed for Caterpillar ABC series, Terex, and ASV skid steer loaders equipped with the standard 8-pin electrical connection. The attachment side is compatible with Bobcat-style attachments that use a 14-pin connector and are pinned to factory standards.
Bobcat 14-pin attachments can support up to six switched functions, but Cat/ASV/Terex ABC series machines only provide four switched control outputs. This adapter passes through the available functions—typically Up/Down and Left/Right—plus grounds, based on the machine’s capabilities.
Cat, ASV, and Terex ABC series loaders are built from the factory with only four active control circuits. Because of this manufacturer limitation, only those four control functions can be used on your Bobcat attachment when connected through this adapter, even though the attachment supports more pins.
Yes. If you need additional attachment functions beyond the four factory circuits, you can pair this adapter with an external injector-style controller. That type of controller can add more momentary and locking outputs to expand what your machine can operate on a Bobcat 14-pin attachment.
The 8-pin side of this adapter is pinned for Caterpillar ABC series machines using pins A, B, C, D, E, and H. To use it on ASV machines and get full function, you must move pin H to pin G inside the 8-pin connector. The kit includes tools, and the process is straightforward when following the provided instructions or videos.
Single-use pin tools are supplied to help you move connector pins if needed. For frequent repinning, workshop use, or servicing multiple attachments, a commercial-duty Deutsch tool is recommended for faster and more durable performance.
The adapter is built to factory Bobcat 14-pin standards. If a previous owner has repinned or modified your attachment, you may need to realign the pins to original positions for all functions to work correctly. The included tools make it easier to move pins back into the proper locations.
Both ends of the adapter are built using OEM-spec components and factory pin configurations. When used on compatible machines and correctly pinned attachments, the adapter is designed to operate safely without harming the machine’s electrical system or the attachment controls.
