The Star Industries Lift-N-Tow is a forklift tow hitch that slips over the forks and lets one machine lift, load and tow without improvising a chain off the carriage. Three models cover the range: the 1390B standard tows up to 10,000 lb gross, the 1395B Super Duty up to 16,000 lb, and the 1396C Navy up to 30,000 lb. Each carries both a swivel hook rating and a separate receiver jib rating, and the hitch itself swaps between a 2 inch ball, a raised ball, a pintle and a combination ball-pintle so one attachment covers every trailer on the yard. The 1390B includes a tool tray.

Hitches are sold separately so you order only what your trailers use. For the 1390B: 2 inch ball (1391), 2 inch raised ball (1391LD), pintle hitch (1392) and combo 2 inch ball/pintle hitch (1393). For the 1395B Super Duty: pintle hitch (1394PH) and combo ball/pintle (1394CH). For the 1396C Navy: pintle hitch (1396C-PH). A fork mover attachment (1390-FM) is also available for the 1390B. The same 1391, 1391LD, 1392 and 1393 adapters fit the 1398 Load-N-Tow.

Mounting is universal slip-on-the-forks with open-ended pockets, so the Lift-N-Tow fits any forklift or telehandler whose forks match the pocket size. The 1390B takes forks up to 6 inches wide by 2 3/4 inches thick with pockets 13 1/4 inches centre to centre. The 1395B and 1396C take forks up to 8 inches wide by 2 3/4 inches thick with pockets 34 3/4 inches centre to centre. All three use 48 inch long pockets. Measure your fork width, thickness and spacing against the table below, and confirm the towing load is within your machine capacity as well as within the hitch rating.

Which lift n tow model do I need?
Match this forklift towing attachment to the heaviest trailer you tow. The 1390B handles up to 10,000 lb gross towing, the 1395B Super Duty up to 16,000 lb and the 1396C Navy up to 30,000 lb. Also check fork fit: the 1390B takes forks up to 6 inches wide, while the 1395B and 1396C take up to 8 inches wide.
Are the ball and pintle hitches included with the Lift-N-Tow?
No, hitches are sold separately. For the 1390B choose the 2 inch ball (1391), raised ball (1391LD), pintle (1392) or combo ball/pintle (1393). The 1395B uses the 1394PH pintle or 1394CH combo, and the 1396C uses the 1396C-PH pintle. Add the hitch you need to your cart alongside the Lift-N-Tow.
Can I swap between ball and pintle hitches on the same forklift hitch?

They are two separate lifting points with different limits. Does the gross towing rating mean my forklift can tow that much?
No. The rating is the capacity of the Lift-N-Tow attachment itself. The actual towing limit is whichever is lower — the attachment rating or your forklift rated drawbar and stability limits. Check your machine documentation as well as the hitch rating before towing.
Does the 1390B come with a tool tray?
Yes. The 1390B Lift-N-Tow includes a tool tray as standard. A separate fork mover attachment, part 1390-FM, is also available for the 1390B.
Will the Lift-N-Tow hitches fit a Load-N-Tow as well?
The 1391 ball, 1391LD raised ball, 1392 pintle and 1393 combo ball/pintle fit both the 1390B Lift-N-Tow and the 1398 Load-N-Tow, so a yard running both attachments can share adapters.
What is the 1390-FM fork mover attachment?

Returns
We offer returns and exchanges in limited circumstances as follows:
- In order to submit a return, you must contact us by email at support@eSkidsteer.com for us to confirm the items ordered are eligible for return or exchange;
- To be eligible for a return, you must commence the return process within 30 days of your item being delivered to you and:
- it must be unused, for example, once an item is hooked up to an attachment plate, hydraulic lines or electrical connection, it will not be eligible for return. Likewise, if your item shows any sign of use, which we may determine in our sole and absolute discretion, we will not accept the return;
- it must be in the same condition you received it in. You will be required to send us timestamped photos of the condition of your items as a condition to determine your eligibility for the return or exchange; and
- it must be returned in the same packaging or containers as it was received in.
We do not accept returns for products that were listed as final sale items at the time of purchase.
You agree to pay a 25% restocking fee on all returns, which we will deduct from any refund owing to you.
After the above referenced 30-day period, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange, under any circumstances.
If your return or exchange is approved, we will provide instructions on shipping your items back to us or the applicable supplier via email.
You agree that you shall be responsible for all return shipping costs and related expenses.
Our shipping cost to you is not refundable.
You are also responsible for ensuring the items are carefully packaged for shipment and that risk of loss or damage during return shipping shall be your sole liability. You may wish to obtain insurance while the returned items are in transit.
Lost or Damaged
If the item is damaged when you receive it, do not sign the proof of delivery, and contact us immediately at support@eSkidsteer.com. If you sign the proof of delivery form, you cannot later claim the item was lost (i.e. not delivered) or damaged on arrival.
If the item is damaged on arrival take photos of the damage with a time stamp.
In the event the item is lost or damaged on arrival, we will assist you with filing a reimbursement claim directly with the applicable supplier or shipping company as applicable. However, you agree that as we are not the direct supplier of the items, it shall be your responsibility to pursue any claims with the applicable supplier in the event your lost or damaged item is not replaced by the supplier or carrier.
