Q: What can be loaded with the Load-N-Tow?
Power equipment such as riding mowers, skid steers, compact tractors, ATVs, and similar self-propelled equipment that can drive up the ramp under their own power or be forklift-pushed onto the platform. Maximum load is limited by forklift rated capacity. |
Q: How does the ramp work?
The ramp lowers from the platform to the ground to create a drive-up incline. Equipment drives or is rolled up the ramp onto the platform. The ramp is then locked in the raised/transport position for towing. |
Q: What trailers can it tow?
The 2" receiver accepts standard 2" trailer balls for towing. Tow capacity is limited by the forklift's rated tow capacity at the load center created by the attachment. |
Q: Is this different from the Lift-N-Tow?
Yes — the Load-N-Tow (1398) is a loading platform with a ramp for driving equipment onto it. The Lift-N-Tow (1390B/1395B) lifts the front wheels of existing trailers for towing. Different applications. |
Q: Does the 1398 require hydraulics?
No — loading and towing use only the forklift's standard mast and tilt hydraulics. No auxiliary hydraulic connections are needed. |
