The Haugen MFSH high capacity forklift swivel hook is an engineer-certified, fork-mounted lifting hook for large forklifts and wheel loaders — available in 22,000 lb (MFSH-22) and 30,000 lb (MFSH-30) capacities. Both models slip onto fork tines with a 3.5" x 9.5" standard pocket and hold the hook at 24" on center for a balanced, stable lift. Engineer certified, meets and/or exceeds OSHA and ANSI regulations. The swivel hook allows 360° load rotation without untwisting rigging. No hydraulics required. Made in USA.

The MFSH-22 and MFSH-30 require fork tines fitting a 3.5" x 9.5" pocket. The MFSH capacity rating is independent of the host machine. Always lift to the lower of (a) the MFSH rated capacity or (b) the host machine's rated lifting capacity at the applicable load center and boom/mast extension. Never use the MFSH-22 or MFSH-30 on a machine rated below those capacities — the machine, not the hook, is typically the limiting factor at normal load centers on large equipment.
Fits large forklifts and wheel loaders with standard fork tines. Standard pocket: 3.5" x 9.5". Compatible with major brands:
| JLG | Skytrak | Manitou | Caterpillar |
| Toyota | Hyster |
The MFSH-22 and MFSH-30 require fork tines with a 3.5" x 9.5" pocket dimension. The lifting capacity of the MFSH is independent of the machine rating — never lift more than the lower of the swivel hook capacity or the machine's rated lifting capacity at the applicable load center and boom extension.

Q: What is the difference between the MFSH-22/30 and the standard MFSH series (6,000–14,000 lbs)?
The standard Haugen fork swivel hooks (MFSH-6, MFSH-10, MFSH-14) use a smaller 14.5"–29.5" ID pocket spacing and are designed for telehandlers and smaller forklifts. The MFSH-22 and MFSH-30 use the larger 3.5" x 9.5" pocket designed for full-sized wheel loaders and industrial forklifts with larger tine cross-sections. The capacity (22,000 and 30,000 lbs) is far beyond what the standard series supports. |
|
Q: Is the MFSH-22/30 OSHA compliant for construction and industrial lifting?
Yes — both models are engineer certified and meet and/or exceed OSHA and ANSI regulations applicable to fork-mounted lifting devices. Engineer certification means the capacity ratings have been verified by a licensed professional engineer, satisfying the documentation requirement on regulated job sites. Always pair with properly rated rigging (slings, chains, or shackles) certified for the load weight. |
|
Q: Can I use this hook on a telehandler?
The MFSH-22 and MFSH-30 are designed for large forklifts and wheel loaders with 3.5" x 9.5" fork tine pockets. Most telehandlers have smaller tines and would require the standard MFSH series (6,000–14,000 lbs) rather than the high-capacity models. Check your telehandler's fork tine dimensions before ordering. |
|
Q: Does the 24" on center load center match my machine's rated load center?
Most large industrial forklifts and wheel loaders are rated at a 24" load center for their nameplate capacity, so the MFSH's 24" hook position aligns with the machine's standard rating. If your machine uses a different load center (some wheel loaders specify at 18" or 36"), consult the machine's load capacity chart for the 24" load center and use that figure as your lifting limit with the MFSH. |
|
Q: What rigging is required?
The MFSH-22 and MFSH-30 use a standard swivel hook that accepts slings, chains, or shackles. The hook opening and throat size are designed for heavy industrial rigging hardware. Use only Grade 80 or Grade 100 chain, wire rope, or synthetic slings rated to at least the intended lift weight. Do not use unrated chain or slings on any lift. |
