Haugen's extreme duty MHF series provides high-capacity pallet forks for skid steer in Class 2 (6,200 lb capacity) and Class 3 (10,000 lb capacity). Two frame widths: 45" and 60". Tine lengths from 48" to 96". Class 2 uses 1.75"×4" tines on 1-1/4"×3" carriage bars; Class 3 uses 2"×5" tines. Includes brick guard and reinforced sides. Universal Quick Attach. Made in USA with a 1-year warranty.

Universal QA. The fork rated capacity (6,200 or 10,000 lbs) always exceeds the machine's own ROC — the machine ROC is the operative limit. Verify your machine's rated operating capacity before use. At 520-590 lbs (known weights), subtract fork weight from machine ROC to determine maximum usable load.
Compatible with skid steer loaders with Universal Quick Attach (SSQA):
| Bobcat | Caterpillar | John Deere | Case |
| New Holland | Takeuchi | Kubota | Gehl |
No hydraulics required.

Q: What is the difference between Class 2 and Class 3?
Class 2 (MHF 45/60 series): 1.75"×4" tines rated at 6,200 lbs. Suitable for heavy commercial skid steer pallet fork work. Class 3 (MHF-C3-60 series): 2"×5" tines rated at 10,000 lbs. For the highest-capacity skid steers, compact track loaders, and applications requiring maximum fork structural margin. Class 3 is also the correct choice for high-cycle commercial operations where tine fatigue life matters. |
|
Q: What is the maximum tine length available?
Class 2: 72" maximum tine length. Class 3: 96" maximum tine length. The MHF-C3-60-96 provides 96" (8-foot) tines rated at 10,000 lbs for applications involving very long loads (pipe, steel, lumber over 8 feet) that require deep tine penetration for stability. |
|
Q: Why are there two frame widths (45" and 60") in Class 2?
45" frame (MHF 45 series): appropriate for standard pallets and most commercial material handling where load width does not exceed the frame. 60" frame (MHF 60 series): for loads wider than standard pallets, large equipment, pipe, or any application where a wider tine base provides better stability. Class 3 is only available in the 60" frame. |
|
Q: What does the brick guard protect?
The brick guard is the protective framework between the fork tines and the carriage plate. It prevents stacked items from sliding backward off the tines during lifting or transport — particularly important when carrying stacked pallets above the operator's sight line, loose bulk material on forks, or equipment that could shift during acceleration. |
|
Q: Are these compatible with high-capacity skid steers like the Bobcat S850 or Cat 299?
Yes — both are rated above the ROC of all current-production large frame skid steers. The MHF Class 2 (6,200 lb) is appropriate for machines with ROC up to approximately 6,000 lbs. The MHF-C3 Class 3 (10,000 lb) is appropriate for the highest-capacity machines and for operations where extended tine life and maximum structural margin are priorities. |
