• Class 3 at 10,000 lb rated capacity covers the full lifting range of high-capacity skid steers and compact wheel loaders — the highest-capacity skid steers (Cat 299D3, Bobcat S850, JD 332G) are rated at 3,000-4,300 lbs ROC. Class 3 forks at 10,000 lb provide a safety margin that exceeds the machine's own ROC, ensuring the tines are not the limiting factor in any skid steer application even at maximum machine capacity.
• 60" frame width provides a wider spacing baseline than standard 48" frames for unstable or oversized loads — wider frames provide more stable lateral support for loads that extend beyond a standard 48" frame, including wide equipment, long steel, and non-palletized material. The 60" frame significantly improves stability on loads wider than 4 feet.
• 2"×5" Class 3 tines resist bending under high sustained loads that deform Class 2 tines — Class 2 tines (1.75"×4") are rated for 6,200 lbs. Under repeated loading near rating, tines accumulate fatigue. Class 3 tines (2"×5") at 10,000 lb rating provide a much larger structural margin in everyday commercial use, extending tine life dramatically in high-cycle fork operations.
• Brick guard protects the operator cab from falling material during high-stack loads — the brick guard is the protective frame between the forks and the carriage that prevents items from sliding backward off the tines into the cab. On high stacks (4+ pallet layers), the brick guard is essential for operator safety.
