Haugen's conveyor bucket skid steer series are extended-depth general-purpose buckets designed to contain high volumes of loose material during transport without spillage. The MCB series uses a 1/4" reinforced steel floor, 3/8" side plates, 3/4" cutting edge, and inside gussets for structural integrity across 36", 48", and 60" widths in 72" and 96" depths. These are not conveyor belts — "conveyor bucket" refers to the extended depth (up to 96" deep) that allows loading and transporting bulk material with a long forward reach. Universal Quick Attach. Made in USA.

Universal Quick Attach. The extended depth (72" or 96") combined with heavy material loading creates significant forward load moment — verify your machine's rated operating capacity at the effective load center before using these buckets with heavy material.
Compatible with skid steer loaders and compact track loaders with Universal Quick Attach:
| Bobcat | Caterpillar | John Deere | Case |
| New Holland | Takeuchi | Kubota | Gehl |

Q: What is a "conveyor bucket" — does it have a belt or conveyor?
No — the Haugen MCB "conveyor bucket" is a standard steel bucket with an extended depth (72" or 96" deep). The name refers to its ability to extend the loader's effective reach by the extra bucket depth, allowing material to be pushed forward for loading into elevated containers. There is no conveyor belt mechanism. This is a standard heavy-duty extended-depth bulk handling bucket. |
|
Q: What is the difference between the 72" and 96" depth versions?
The 72" depth provides a 6-foot forward reach from the QA plate; the 96" depth provides an 8-foot forward reach. Choose 96" when you need to dump into taller containers or truck beds that the 72" cannot reach without driving the machine closer to the edge. Note that the load moment increases with depth — verify your machine's ROC at the applicable load center for the 96" models. |
|
Q: What is the purpose of the inside gussets?
Inside gussets are welded reinforcement plates at the floor-to-side-plate junction inside the bucket. They distribute stress at the corner weld seam, which is the highest-load point in an extended bucket under side-loading. The 36" MCB (single-width) has sufficient structural integrity without gussets; the 48" adds one gusset; the 60" adds two. This scaling reflects the increasing structural demand as bucket width and potential side-loading increase. |
|
Q: Can optional wear bars and bolt-on edges be added after purchase?
Yes — contact Haugen at 877-580-6218 for wear bar and bolt-on cutting edge pricing and fitment for your specific MCB model. These are field-installable options that can be added to standard buckets when wear conditions require. |
|
Q: What is the side plate height (6" @ 30") specification?
The side plates on MCB buckets are flared — at 30" from the ground (mid-height of the 20" bucket height), the side plate extends 6" above the bucket floor height. This flare contains material that would otherwise spill over the sides during transport. The "6" @ 30"" specification means the side plate reaches 6" above the nominal side height at the 30" measurement point. |
