What does this harness do?

This harness allows Futurra laser receivers to operate on a Bobcat 96" or 108" grader by completely bypassing the Bobcat computer, enabling direct and reliable control.

Does this harness control the entire grader?

No. This harness only bypasses the Bobcat controller for the laser receiver function. Additional components may be required depending on how you want to control the grader and receivers.

What type of machine controls are required?

Bobcat graders require eight momentary controls to operate properly. In addition, both a keyed 12-volt power source and a switched 12-volt power source are required to run the laser receivers in manual and automatic modes.

Can I use my existing machine controls?

Yes, if your machine is equipped with a 14-pin connector and has six factory control switches installed. This applies to certain brands and model years, but does not work with Caterpillar or John Deere machines.

Does this harness work with CAT or John Deere machines?

No. This harness and control method are not compatible with Caterpillar or John Deere loaders.

Does the harness require additional wiring?

Depending on your setup, wiring may need to be routed through the cab and out the boom. Some installations may involve repinning into an existing 14-pin connector for a factory-style integration.

Is this harness plug-and-play?
