Maximum drilling diameter differs by carrier class because down-pressure and machine stability differ — the drive itself is identical in every configuration. Where a carrier weight range shows a dash, Digga does not publish one for the 1DSS in that class — match the mount to your machine instead.

What Auger Bits Fit the 1DSS?
The 1DSS drives a 2" hex output shaft, which accepts the full Digga A4 general-purpose earth range and the RC4 rock/earth combination range, in diameters from 6" to 36". Mini skid steers and compact utility loaders — Bobcat Mount Package, built for the Bobcat MT series interface. Mini mounts do not fit full-size SSQA plates.
Mini excavators — Single Pin or Double Pin mount, pinned direct to the dipper. Digga rates this class at 0.75–3T (1,600–6,600 lbs). Pin diameter and spacing must match your machine.
Tractors — Agricultural Bucket Mount Package, which mounts to the side of a front-end loader bucket.

Which mount package do I need for my machine?
Match the mount to your machine class: a full-size skid steer or compact track loader takes the Universal Quick Attach, Frame, Extension Frame (TPE) or Slide Frame package; a Bobcat MT series mini loader takes the Bobcat Mount Package; a mini excavator takes the Single Pin or Double Pin mount; a tractor front-end loader takes the Bucket Mount Package. The mounts are machine-specific and cannot be swapped between classes.
What hydraulic flow does the Digga 1DSS need?
The 1DSS is rated for 6–16 GPM. Do not exceed 3,500 PSI at 16 GPM, or 30 GPM at 1,800 PSI. Machines flowing more than 16 GPM should step up to the 2DSS (10–26 GPM) or 3DSS (10–30 GPM).
Does the 1DSS need a case drain?
No. The 1DSS is a single-speed drive and runs on a standard two-line auxiliary circuit. Digga’s two-speed DDT drives are the models that require a case drain.
Why is maximum drilling diameter 24" on a skid steer but 14" on a mini excavator?
The drive is identical; the carrier is not. Digga publishes 24" maximum drilling diameter in earth for the 1DSS on a 1–2.5T skid steer and 14" on a 0.75–3T mini excavator, because a lighter machine cannot supply the down-pressure and stability a larger bit needs.
What is included in the package?
The 1DSS drive unit, hoses, flush-face quick disconnects and the mount package you select. Auger bits and extensions are sold separately — the drive takes any Digga A4 or RC4 bit with a 2" hex hub.
What is HALO and should I add it?
HALO is Digga’s LED auger alignment system, fitted into the hood of the drive. It shows green when the auger is plumb and red when it is not, guiding the operator back without a spotter. It is worth adding for fence lines, structural piers and any job where an out-of-plumb hole means rework or extra concrete. Select “Include HALO Auger Alignment System” to have it factory-fitted.
Can the 1DSS be used for screw anchors?
Yes, with Digga’s patented anti-kickback valve fitted. Using a DSS drive for anchoring without that valve voids the warranty.
What warranty comes with the 1DSS?
Five years on the gearbox, three years on the motor, and a lifetime shaft pull-out warranty. Warranty is subject to maintenance per the operator’s manual.
What auger bits should I buy with it?
A4 general-purpose bits for earth and clay, or RC4 rock/earth combination bits for mixed and fracturable ground. Both use the 2" hex hub the 1DSS drives. Bits run 6" to 36" in diameter — stay within the maximum drilling diameter published for your machine class.

We offer returns and exchanges in limited circumstances as follows:
- In order to submit a return, you must contact us by email at support@eSkidsteer.com for us to confirm the items ordered are eligible for return or exchange;
- To be eligible for a return, you must commence the return process within 30 days of your item being delivered to you and:
- it must be unused, for example, once an item is hooked up to an attachment plate, hydraulic lines or electrical connection, it will not be eligible for return. Likewise, if your item shows any sign of use, which we may determine in our sole and absolute discretion, we will not accept the return;
- it must be in the same condition you received it in. You will be required to send us timestamped photos of the condition of your items as a condition to determine your eligibility for the return or exchange; and
- it must be returned in the same packaging or containers as it was received in.
We do not accept returns for products that were listed as final sale items at the time of purchase.

Lost or Damaged

In the event the item is lost or damaged on arrival, we will assist you with filing a reimbursement claim directly with the applicable supplier or shipping company as applicable.
