This Genius 14-pin plug-and-play dual-output adapter is designed for attachments that use existing 2-pin Deutsch receptacles and need to connect to the 14-pin connector on your skid steer or compact loader. Simply plug it in and you can operate up to two solenoids from your machine’s factory controls.
Each 2-pin plug on the adapter features an integrated LED indicator. When everything is wired and connected correctly, the LEDs give you instant visual confirmation that power and control signals are present, saving time when setting up or troubleshooting attachments.
The adapter comes pre-pinned for many of the most common machines on the market, including:
For John Deere machines, there is an internal jumper. To configure for Deere, simply remove the shrink tubing and move the jumper into the “A” slot as required.
For high-flow Caterpillar D-Series models, you can use the same adapter and place the jumper into either slot “N” or “K” to activate your high-flow hydraulics.
John Deere P-Series owners: To operate properly on these models, you will need to remove two of the pins from the adapter. From the factory we jumper “C” to “E” and “D” to “F” to give you a choice of control options. The newer P-Series machines interpret this as a short circuit and shut the hydraulics down, so the jumpers must be removed for correct operation.
If you expect to move pins frequently or reconfigure attachments often, keep in mind that the adapter is supplied with basic single-use tools. They are fine for occasional pin changes, but for regular or professional use a commercial-duty tool is strongly recommended.
This connector lets you split a single 14-pin machine-side port into two separate 14-pin outputs. It allows you to connect two attachments or harnesses to your skid steer or loader at the same time without rewiring.
It works with any skid steer, loader or equipment that uses a standard 14-pin Deutsch connection. Attachments with matching 14-pin plugs will plug directly into the dual-output connector.
“Dual output” means one input from your machine becomes two independent 14-pin outputs — so you can run two attachments simultaneously (for example, a hydraulic tool and an auxiliary light or accessory) without constantly swapping connectors.
No. This connector is plug-and-play. You simply connect the machine-side 14-pin plug to the input, then plug your two attachments into the two outputs. No wiring or tools are required.
Yes — as long as both attachments use a standard 14-pin interface and your machine’s electrical/hydraulic output is sufficient. The dual-output connector itself doesn’t change wiring or functionality; it just allows two connections instead of one.
Yes. Any attachment that uses a standard 14-pin Deutsch connector should work with this splitter — whether it’s OEM or aftermarket. This makes it flexible for mixed setups.
Not inherently. The connector is a passive splitter — it does not alter wiring or signals. However, if you attempt to power two high-draw attachments simultaneously that exceed your machine’s capacity, that could cause overload or performance issues. Always check specifications before using both outputs at once.
If you exceed the machine’s hydraulic or electrical output by running two heavy attachments simultaneously, there’s a risk of overload. Using the dual-output connector properly — with attachments within specifications — is safe.
Make sure the 14-pin machine-side plug is fully seated, both attachments are securely connected, and their wiring matches the standard 14-pin pinout. If problems persist, verify that your machine’s output can support both attachments simultaneously.
