The Haugen MFSH-TS series is a fork mounted trailer spotter that combines a fork-mounted swivel hook with a 2" trailer receiver in a single fork-pocket unit — providing both overhead lifting and trailer spotting capability without needing two separate attachments. Available in two capacities: MFSH-6TS (6,000 lb hook, 3 ton) at 205 lbs, and MFSH-10TS (10,000 lb hook, 5 ton) at 220 lbs. Pocket spacing: 14.5" ID – 29.5" OD, fits tines up to 3.5"×7.5". Hook at 24" on center. Engineer certified. OSHA/ANSI compliant. Made in USA.

The MFSH-TS series uses the standard fork-pocket mount for telehandler and counterbalanced forklift tines (14.5" ID to 29.5" OD pocket spacing). The swivel hook capacity (6,000 or 10,000 lbs) is independent of the machine's trailer spotting capacity — never exceed either limit. Only use the receiver for ground-level trailer movement, not for overhead lifting.
Fork-pocket mounted — fits standard telehandler and forklift fork tines (pocket 14.5"–29.5" OD for MFSH-6TS/10TS; accepts tines up to 3.5"×7.5"):

Q: What is the difference between MFSH-6TS and MFSH-10TS?
Both are swivel hook and 2" trailer receiver combos. The MFSH-6TS has a 6,000 lb (3 ton) hook capacity and weighs 205 lbs. The MFSH-10TS has a 10,000 lb (5 ton) hook capacity and weighs 220 lbs. Both use the same 14.5"-29.5" pocket spacing and accept tines up to 3.5"×7.5". Choose based on your required overhead lifting capacity. |
|
Q: Can I use the 2" receiver for lifting loads?
No — the 2" receiver is designed for ground-level trailer spotting (pushing or pulling trailers horizontally). It is not a rated lifting point. All overhead lifting must be done through the swivel hook, which is the engineer-certified, OSHA-rated component. Never hang a load from the receiver tube. |
|
Q: What kind of trailers can I spot with this?
The 2" receiver accepts all standard trailer ball mounts (1-7/8", 2", 2-5/16"). Ball mounts are sold separately and attach to the receiver tube. This allows the forklift or telehandler to couple to any standard trailer with a ball coupler and move it within a yard or to a dock. Very heavy loaded trailers may exceed the machine's ground-level push capacity — always check the machine's rated push/pull capacity. |
|
Q: Is the MFSH-TS different from the standard MFSH (6/10/14K)?
Yes — the standard MFSH series (MFSH-6, MFSH-10, MFSH-14) is a swivel hook only, with no trailer receiver. The MFSH-TS series (MFSH-6TS, MFSH-10TS) adds the 2" receiver to the same fork-pocket hook base, providing trailer spotting capability in addition to lifting. The pocket dimensions and hook capacities are the same between the standard and TS variants at the 6K and 10K capacity levels. |
|
Q: Does this come with a ball mount?
No — the 2" receiver tube is included, but the ball mount (which holds the trailer hitch ball) must be purchased separately. Standard 2" receiver ball mounts are widely available at hardware and trailer supply stores. Select the ball size (1-7/8", 2", or 2-5/16") appropriate for your trailer coupler. |
