Q: What widths are available?
Six sizes: 1600mm (63""), 1700mm (67""), 1800mm (71""), 2000mm (79""), 2500mm (98""), and 3000mm (118""). Select based on site width and machine size. Wider brooms increase productivity but require adequate machine operating capacity. |
|
Q: How does the cutting edge work?
The bolt-on cutting edge runs along the bottom of the bucket broom. It contacts the surface and breaks up and removes caked-on mud and debris that the poly brush alone cannot dislodge. When the edge wears, replacement bolts are removed and a new edge installs without any welding. |
|
Q: Is the side gutter broom required?
No — the side broom is an optional attachment. It's most useful when sweeping against walls, curbs, gutters, and building edges where the main drum cannot reach. If your primary use is open-area sweeping, the side broom may not be necessary. |
|
Q: What hydraulic flow does the broom require?
Wider high-flow brooms may require higher flow rates. Contact eSkidSteer at 866-757-8337 for any questions. |
|
Q: Can this be used for snow removal?
The BR series bucket broom can sweep light snow, but is primarily designed for debris, dirt, and mud. For dedicated snow removal, a snow blade or snow blower attachment is more appropriate for heavy snow conditions. |
