• 40" tall box eliminates the windrow spill-over that reduces 30" pusher efficiency on deep snow — when pushing heavy or deep snow accumulations, a 30" box fills to the brim and begins to spill over the sides and top, reducing effective payload per push and increasing push count per lot. At 40" tall, the box contains deeper accumulations without spillover, reducing the number of pushes needed to clear a large lot in heavy snowfall conditions.
• Reversible edges extend service life to double that of single-sided edges — both the rubber (1.5"×10") and steel (1/2"×6") cutting edges are reversible. When the leading face wears, the edge is flipped to present a fresh cutting surface, doubling its service life without purchasing a replacement edge. For a commercial contractor making 8-10 hours per storm, reversible edges significantly reduce consumable costs per season.
• Optional spill guard prevents side spillage on angled or sloped surfaces — the optional spill guard (available on HSP 30-96 and HSP 30-120) is a wing or panel that extends the box height on the sides to contain material that would otherwise spill out during turns or on cambered surfaces. This is particularly useful on parking lots with crown drainage where the box tilts during pushing.
• AR 400 skid shoes outlast mild steel skid shoes by 3-5x in normal commercial clearing — skid shoes contact the pavement directly and wear continuously during use. AR 400 (400 BHN abrasion resistant) provides dramatically longer service life than structural steel (120-140 BHN) skid shoes, reducing shoe replacement frequency on machines doing 200+ hours per season.
