Haugen's skid steer snow bucket lineup covers three series and 30 SKUs to match every machine size and snow volume requirement. Standard (MSB) in 60–108" widths: heavy-duty 3/4"×6" high-carbon cutting edge, four 1/2"×3" wear bars, inside gussets, steps, and optional Euro/global mount. Medium (MMSB) in 72–102" widths: same construction with a see-through visibility window in the back. Mega (MHSB) in 84–102" widths: maximum volume, 42" bucket height and 42.5" inside depth. Every style is available with or without an optional 5/8"×8" reversible Bolt-On Edge (BOE). All use Universal Quick Attach. Made in USA with a 1-year warranty.

All three series use Universal Quick Attach. At weights ranging from ~490 lbs (MSB 60) to 1,190 lbs (MHSB 102), verify your machine's rated operating capacity before selecting. Larger widths and higher series will also place more hydraulic demand on wider machines — ensure your machine's auxiliary circuit can supply required hydraulic flow for any hydraulic attachment used in combination.
Compatible with skid steer loaders and compact track loaders with Universal Quick Attach:
| Bobcat | Caterpillar | John Deere | Case |
| New Holland | Takeuchi | Kubota | Gehl |
No auxiliary hydraulics required for the snow bucket itself. The Mega (MHSB) series at 975-1,190 lbs is best suited for high-capacity machines (3,000+ lbs ROC). Optional Euro/global mount available for machines using that interface.

Q: What is the difference between Standard, Medium, and Mega?
Standard (MSB) is the base model — widest size range (60-108"), competitive weight and capacity. Medium (MMSB) has more depth and volume than the Standard at the same width, plus a see-through window for improved forward visibility. Mega (MHSB) has maximum volume — 42" bucket height and 42.5" inside depth — for the most cubic feet per pass, best suited for heavy commercial snow removal with large high-capacity machines. |
|
Q: What does the BOE (Bolt-On Edge) option add?
BOE stands for Bolt-On Cutting Edge. The standard cutting edge is a 3/4"×6" high-carbon edge welded to the bucket lip. The BOE option adds a 5/8"×8" reversible bolt-on edge that attaches over the weld-on edge. It's reversible — when one face wears, you flip it. When both faces wear, you bolt on a new edge with standard hand tools, no welder required. This significantly reduces edge service cost on high-cycle commercial snow operations. |
|
Q: How do I choose the right width?
Match the bucket width to your machine's rated operating capacity and your typical snow volume. Wider buckets move more snow per pass but weigh more and create more lateral force on the machine during curbing. In general: 60-72" for compact skid steers (ROC 1,500-2,000 lbs); 78-96" for mid-range machines (ROC 2,000-3,000 lbs); 96-108" and MHSB series for large machines (ROC 3,000+ lbs). Always confirm against your machine's spec sheet. |
|
Q: Can the snow bucket be used for material other than snow?
Yes — while designed for snow, the bucket functions as a standard bucket for light soil, wood chips, mulch, and similar materials. The 3/4"×6" cutting edge and wear bars make it durable for seasonal multi-use. Do not use the bucket for heavy rocky material or demolition debris — the snow bucket is not designed for the impact loads associated with rock and rubble work. |
|
Q: What is the optional Euro/global mount?
The optional Euro/global mount replaces the standard Universal Skid Steer Quick Attach interface with a Euro/global (Bosch Rexroth) style mount, which is used on many European-market machines and some New Holland, Case, and John Deere models sold with Euro-standard buckets. Order this option when your machine uses Euro/global rather than the standard SSQA. |
|
Q: Does the MMSB window compromise structural integrity?
No — the see-through window in the MMSB is engineered into the back plate design with appropriate reinforcement around the opening. Haugen's MMSB is built with the same gusset and wear bar construction as the Standard series, with the window integrated into the design rather than cut into a standard bucket back plate. |
