Match GPM variant to your machine's actual aux hydraulic flow. WR-006 harness required for in-cab electric chute control on Bobcat machines with 7-pin connector. For other machine brands, contact Haugen at 877-580-6218 for wiring harness options.
Compatible with SSQA skid steers at the appropriate GPM. Wiring harness option WR-006 for Bobcat 7-pin electric chute control:
| Bobcat | Caterpillar | John Deere | Case |
| New Holland | Kubota | Takeuchi | Gehl |
Requires 1 aux circuit at rated GPM. Check your machine's aux flow spec before ordering.
|
Q: Which GPM model should I order?
Check your skid steer spec sheet for "auxiliary hydraulic flow" in GPM — this is the figure that drives the snow blower motor. SB 74-6: 16-20 GPM (most standard-flow compact skid steers). SB 74-8: 20-24 GPM (mid-range). SB 74-9: 24-31 GPM (upper standard flow). If your machine exceeds 31 GPM aux, contact Haugen at 877-580-6218. |
|
Q: What does no shear pins mean?
Standard snow blower drives use shear pins that break when the auger strikes a hard object (rock, curb, frozen chunk), requiring a field pin replacement. Haugen's design uses a different overload protection mechanism that does not require field pin replacement, allowing continuous commercial operation without downtime. |
|
Q: Is the wiring harness required?
The WR-006 harness is only needed for electric chute direction control from the cab. Without it, chute direction is set manually outside the cab. For commercial routes where frequent chute changes are needed, the electric chute is strongly recommended. |
|
Q: What is the clearing width?
74 inches on all three models. |
|
Q: Can this be used going in reverse?
Yes — the auger moves snow toward the impeller regardless of travel direction. Both forward passes and reverse passes are productive clearing movements. |
