The EZ Spot UR Double Pole Claw (EZ-0008) is a skid steer pole grapple rated for a 32-foot, 1,100 lb Class 1 pole, built for street lighting, fencing, pole barn posts and utility work. Two jaws close independently and in sequence, so the Double Pole Claw takes hold of a pole before it can roll, and rubber lining protects the pole on any material. Three choices build your unit. The base decides rotation: Double Cylinder Rotating Base for 127 degrees to the operator’s left, Fixed Non-Rotating Base for a simpler unit with nothing to maintain, or No Attachment Base if you already run one. Jaw inserts decide the minimum grip — without them the jaws close to 3 inches, with Small Jaw Inserts they close to 0 for thin posts and pipe. Then choose the wiring harness that matches your machine. It runs on 20–30 GPM at 3,000 psi.

Three selections build the part you receive:
- Attachment Base — Double Cylinder Rotating Base gives 127 degrees of powered rotation to the operator’s left; Fixed Non-Rotating Base has no moving parts to maintain and indexes manually through 90 degrees; No Attachment Base supplies the tool head alone, for operators replacing a worn head or adding a second head to a base they already own.
- Jaw Inserts — No Jaw Inserts leaves the standard 3" minimum close; Small Jaw Inserts close the jaws down to 0 for thin posts, pipe and small-diameter stock.
- Wiring Harness — nine options, described below.
Every EZ Spot UR rotating attachment needs a wiring harness to switch the base from the machine's auxiliary circuit. Nine options are offered so the harness matches your machine: Universal Skid Steer Wiring Harness for most standard machines; 14 Pin Wire Harness for Cat, Bobcat, Kubota, John Deere, Case, New Holland and Takeuchi machines with a 14-pin connector; 8 Pin Caterpillar/ASV/TEREX Harness for those three brands; Single Pole 7 Pin Bobcat Electrical Harness for 7-pin Bobcat machines; 7 Pin Intermediate Harness and Intermediate Tool Wiring Harness where a tool-side intermediate lead is needed between the machine harness and the attachment; Cigarette Plug In Universal Wiring Harness where no auxiliary electrical connector is fitted and power is taken from the cab accessory socket; Radio Remote Assembly for Telehandlers for telehandler installations run without a cab harness; and None if you already hold a working harness for this machine.

The Double Pole Claw carries a 3" square female receiver, the common interface across the EZ Spot UR range. It fits the Double Cylinder Rotating Base and the Fixed Non-Rotating Base sold here, and a base bought for this claw will accept other EZ Spot UR tool heads with the same receiver later. Tool heads change by pulling one 3/4" pin.

Your working limit is your machine’s rated operating capacity minus the weight of the attachment and base. Do I need the Small Jaw Inserts?
Only if you handle thin stock. Without inserts the Double Pole Claw jaws close to 3 inches, which grips a standard pole securely. Small Jaw Inserts take the close-down to 0 inches, which is what you need for narrow posts, pipe and small-diameter material that would otherwise slip through.
Can the Double Pole Claw pull posts as well as set them?

The Double Cylinder Rotating Base powers the tool head through 127 degrees to the operator's left, which is what lets you pick a pole off a trailer and rotate it to vertical without repositioning the machine. The Fixed Non-Rotating Base does not rotate under power, has no moving parts to maintain, and can be indexed manually through 90 degrees. Choose No Attachment Base only if you already own an EZ Spot UR base.
Which wiring harness do I need?
Match the harness to your machine's auxiliary electrical connector, not to the attachment. The Double Pole Claw comes standard with rubber lining on both jaws, specifically so it can be used on any type of pole including finished and decorative columns without marking the surface.

Returns
We offer returns and exchanges in limited circumstances as follows:
- In order to submit a return, you must contact us by email at support@eSkidsteer.com for us to confirm the items ordered are eligible for return or exchange;
- To be eligible for a return, you must commence the return process within 30 days of your item being delivered to you and:
- it must be unused, for example, once an item is hooked up to an attachment plate, hydraulic lines or electrical connection, it will not be eligible for return. Likewise, if your item shows any sign of use, which we may determine in our sole and absolute discretion, we will not accept the return;
- it must be in the same condition you received it in. You will be required to send us timestamped photos of the condition of your items as a condition to determine your eligibility for the return or exchange; and
- it must be returned in the same packaging or containers as it was received in.
We do not accept returns for products that were listed as final sale items at the time of purchase.
You agree to pay a 25% restocking fee on all returns, which we will deduct from any refund owing to you.
After the above referenced 30-day period, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange, under any circumstances.
If your return or exchange is approved, we will provide instructions on shipping your items back to us or the applicable supplier via email.
You agree that you shall be responsible for all return shipping costs and related expenses.
Our shipping cost to you is not refundable.
You are also responsible for ensuring the items are carefully packaged for shipment and that risk of loss or damage during return shipping shall be your sole liability. You may wish to obtain insurance while the returned items are in transit.
Lost or Damaged
If the item is damaged when you receive it, do not sign the proof of delivery, and contact us immediately at support@eSkidsteer.com. If you sign the proof of delivery form, you cannot later claim the item was lost (i.e. not delivered) or damaged on arrival.
If the item is damaged on arrival take photos of the damage with a time stamp.
In the event the item is lost or damaged on arrival, we will assist you with filing a reimbursement claim directly with the applicable supplier or shipping company as applicable. However, you agree that as we are not the direct supplier of the items, it shall be your responsibility to pursue any claims with the applicable supplier in the event your lost or damaged item is not replaced by the supplier or carrier.
