📘 Overview
The Haugen heavy duty skid steer bucket (MHDB) is a low profile bucket and general purpose skid steer dirt bucket built for the abuse cycle that rental fleets and commercial sites put on equipment. Seven widths from 60" to 96", all 20.50" tall and 34" deep, in smooth-edge or tooth configurations. Heavy duty 3/8" skid steer plate, Grade 50 side plates and stiffeners, 1/4" steel floor and a 3/4" x 6" beveled edge.
Bolt-on cutting edges are available on the smooth models, and the tooth versions carry Series 23 weld-on teeth with replaceable tips.

🔧 Smooth Edge, Bolt-On Edge or Teeth?
- Smooth edge. The 3/4" x 6" beveled edge cuts cleanly and back-drags flat, which is what you want for grading, spreading and clean-up on finished surfaces.
- Bolt-on cutting edge. A 5/8" x 8" double bevel high carbon edge bolts over the base edge, taking the wear so the bucket does not. When it wears out you unbolt it rather than rebuild the bucket. Add "-B" to the part number.
- Teeth. Series 23 weld-on teeth with replaceable tips concentrate force at points instead of spreading it along an edge, which is what breaks into compacted material. A 60" carries 6 teeth, rising to 11 on the 90". Tips replace as they wear.
Teeth add 55 to 60 lbs over the smooth version of the same width, and they stop you back-dragging a clean surface. If you do both digging and grading, many operators run a smooth bucket with a bolt-on edge and accept slower breakout.
📏 Choosing a Skid Steer Bucket Attachment Width
The rule of thumb is that the bucket should be at least as wide as the machine, so the tires run in ground the bucket has already cleared. Beyond that, wider means more material per pass — but a full 96" bucket of wet material can exceed what a smaller skid steer can lift and still steer.
All seven widths share the same 20.50" height and 34" depth, so capacity scales with width alone: 14.25 cu ft at 60" up to 24.50 cu ft at 96".

Every MHDB carries a heavy duty 3/8" universal skid steer quick attach plate, so it fits any skid steer or compact track loader running the standard SSQA interface.
Match the bucket to the machine rather than to the job alone. Bucket weight runs 570 to 782 lbs empty, and a heaped bucket of wet soil adds substantially more — check your loader's rated operating capacity before choosing the widest bucket that will physically bolt on.

Which width should I choose?
At minimum, as wide as your machine so the tires track in cleared ground. Beyond that it is a trade between material moved per pass and what your loader can lift. All widths share the same height and depth, so a 96" holds 24.50 cu ft against 14.25 on a 60".
Smooth or tooth?
Teeth break into compacted or stony material far better because force concentrates at points. A smooth edge back-drags and grades cleanly, which teeth cannot. If you mostly load loose material and tidy surfaces, smooth. If you are digging, teeth.
What does the bolt-on edge do?
A 5/8" x 8" double bevel high carbon edge bolts over the bucket's own edge and takes the wear. When it is worn you replace the edge rather than repairing the bucket lip. Order by adding "-B" to the part number.
Can I add teeth later?
The tooth versions are separate models with Series 23 teeth welded on, rather than a bolt-on kit. The tips within those teeth are replaceable as they wear.
How much does the bucket itself weigh?
570 lbs for a 60" smooth up to 782 lbs for a 90" tooth bucket. That comes off your loader's rated operating capacity before any material goes in.
What is the mounting plate?
Heavy duty 3/8" universal skid steer quick attach, so it fits any machine running the standard SSQA interface — skid steers and compact track loaders alike.
Is a bolt-on cutting edge included?
No — the standard bucket has a 3/4" x 6" beveled edge. The bolt-on edge is a 5/8" x 8" double bevel high carbon edge ordered by adding "-B" to the part number.

We do not take orders on the phone for security reasons. To place an order, go to a product page, select the desired quantity of the item, and add it to your cart via the “Add to Cart” button. Failure to Accept Products on Delivery
If you reject delivery of goods ordered from us, or otherwise fail to accept delivery of the goods, you agree to pay for all related and additional shipping fees, duties, taxes, restocking fees and other charges arising from such failure to accept delivery. After such failure to accept delivery of the goods, it shall be your responsibility to pay for and arrange a new shipping date.

We also provide tracking numbers for all orders. Once your order has been shipped, we will provide you with a tracking number that you can use to track the progress of your package. You will receive this tracking number via email.

Can I ship to multiple addresses?
At this time, we cannot ship to multiple addresses in one order. Please place separate orders on support@eSkidsteer.com to ship to different addresses. If you need assistance, please contact our Customer Service.
Wrong Address:
Please review and ensure that you have entered the correct address. We are not responsible for non-delivery due to errors in the address that you provide. If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, we will refund the original order (excluding the shipping fee) and ask that you re-submit your order.

Returns
Returns
We offer returns and exchanges in limited circumstances as follows:
- In order to submit a return, you must contact us by email at support@eSkidsteer.com for us to confirm the items ordered are eligible for return or exchange;
- To be eligible for a return, you must commence the return process within 30 days of your item being delivered to you and:
- it must be unused, for example, once an item is hooked up to an attachment plate, hydraulic lines or electrical connection, it will not be eligible for return. Likewise, if your item shows any sign of use, which we may determine in our sole and absolute discretion, we will not accept the return;
- it must be in the same condition you received it in. You will be required to send us timestamped photos of the condition of your items as a condition to determine your eligibility for the return or exchange; and
- it must be returned in the same packaging or containers as it was received in.
We do not accept returns for products that were listed as final sale items at the time of purchase.
You agree to pay a 25% restocking fee on all returns, which we will deduct from any refund owing to you.
After the above referenced 30-day period, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange, under any circumstances.
If your return or exchange is approved, we will provide instructions on shipping your items back to us or the applicable supplier via email.
You agree that you shall be responsible for all return shipping costs and related expenses.
Our shipping cost to you is not refundable.
You are also responsible for ensuring the items are carefully packaged for shipment and that risk of loss or damage during return shipping shall be your sole liability. You may wish to obtain insurance while the returned items are in transit.
Lost or Damaged
If the item is damaged when you receive it, do not sign the proof of delivery, and contact us immediately at support@eSkidsteer.com. If you sign the proof of delivery form, you cannot later claim the item was lost (i.e. not delivered) or damaged on arrival.
If the item is damaged on arrival take photos of the damage with a time stamp.
In the event the item is lost or damaged on arrival, we will assist you with filing a reimbursement claim directly with the applicable supplier or shipping company as applicable. However, you agree that as we are not the direct supplier of the items, it shall be your responsibility to pursue any claims with the applicable supplier in the event your lost or damaged item is not replaced by the supplier or carrier.
