Q: What auger drive does this require?
The MI series mixing bowls require a Digga auger drive with a 2" hex output shaft and a compatible Digga cradle frame. It pins to the existing frame in under 2 minutes. Confirm your drive unit has a 2" hex output and a compatible cradle. |
|
Q: What can I mix in this bowl?
Concrete, cement, mortar, grout, fertilizer, animal feed mixes, and other pourable or mixable materials. The bowl is not rated for abrasive or corrosive chemicals. Rinse immediately after concrete or mortar use before material sets. |
|
Q: How do I swap from drilling to mixing?
Pin the mixing bowl cradle to your existing auger frame (same pins used for the drive unit), add the mixing bowl to the cradle, add water and concrete mix to the bowl, and engage the auger drive hydraulics to rotate the drum. Reverse the steps to return to drilling mode. |
|
Q: Which capacity should I choose?
MI-000143 (2.5 cu ft wet) for light fence post and small anchor jobs (typically 1–3 bags of concrete per batch). MI-000170 (3.9 cu ft wet) for heavier post setting, larger anchors, and footing work requiring larger batch sizes. |
|
Q: Can I use this with any auger drive or only Digga?
The MI series is designed for Digga auger drives with 2" hex output and compatible Digga cradle frames. Compatibility with third-party drives depends on drive dimensions and cradle attachment geometry. |
