The Digga TTS-3 is the MFT taper inner tooth for Digga RC4-RC10 Rock/Combination Auger Bits — designed for general-purpose and all-conditions drilling. The TTS-3 uses the TTD-H taper tooth pocket and sits in the inner positions of the RC auger head, working alongside TTD-3 outer teeth to provide complete coverage. The taper tooth system uses a 1-step knock-in/knock-out process for fast field replacement without special tools. For machines up to 50 tons. OEM Digga, made in Dyersville, Iowa, USA.

For Digga RC4 through RC10 Rock/Combination Auger Bits using TTD-H taper pockets. Inner tooth position. Not for A4 (TS system) or DR series (DP system). Pair with TTD-3 outer teeth for complete head service. For RC11, use TTL-3 outer teeth.
RC4 suits skid steers and excavators up to 4.5T. Larger RC series (RC6-RC10) suit machines to 50T. This inner tooth fits the full RC series:
| Bobcat | Caterpillar | John Deere | Case |
| Komatsu | Volvo | Doosan | Hitachi |
Machine compatibility inherited from parent RC series auger. RC4 = 0.75T–4.5T. RC6 through RC10 = larger excavator classes up to 50T. Confirm your RC model and machine class.

Q: TTS-3 vs TTD-3 — inner vs outer? TTS-3 is the inner tooth for the center zone of the RC auger head. TTD-3 is the outer (gauge) tooth for the hole wall cutting and diameter maintenance. Both use TTD-H pockets and MFT tungsten. A complete head service requires both TTS-3 inner and TTD-3 outer teeth in the correct quantity for your auger diameter. |
|
Q: How many TTS-3 inner teeth does my RC4 require? Tooth count varies by diameter. Rev-pile.com provides a reference count: 6"" = 2, 8"" = 4, 9"" = 4, 10"" = 4, 12"" = 4, 14"" = 5, 16"" = 4, 18"" = 4, 20"" = 4, 24"" = 3, 30"" = 4, 36"" = 3, 42"" = 4, 48"" = 4 TTS-3 inner teeth per diameter. Confirm with eskidsteer.com for your specific auger configuration. |
|
Q: Can TTS-3 be used on RC6, RC8, RC10? Yes — TTS-3 suits RC4 through RC10 using TTD-H taper pockets. It does NOT suit RC11 (which uses TTL-3 teeth with a different pocket). |
|
Q: What is the 1-step taper knock-in/knock-out system? The taper tooth uses a Morse taper geometry that self-locks under drilling load. To remove: a single punch hit drives the tooth out of the taper socket. To install: drive the tooth into the socket until it seats — the taper creates the retention. No secondary pins or tools required. Faster than the PADLOC pin system used on TS teeth. |
|
Q: What ground conditions can TTS-3 handle? TTS-3 MFT inner teeth handle general-purpose conditions including earth, clay, asphalt, shale, and soft to medium rock. For very hard rock (granite, quartzite, solid basalt), the Digga DR series with rotating carbide picks is the appropriate choice. |
