Reach runs from a 2 ft stub through 6, 10, 12 and 15 ft, and structural capacity runs from 2,000 lb on the long booms up to 22,000 lb on the short 1303. Back style is the fitment decision — the standard Low Profile truss boom fits most machines, while a Wide Back truss boom is required for JCB Q-Fit, Gehl Dynacarrier, Bobcat VersaHandler and Ingersoll-Rand VR518, VR623 and VR638 quick-tach designs. The 2 ft truss booms are supplied with a bolted anchor shackle and a swivel hook with latch, matched to the model rating — the 1302 with a 7-ton shackle and 5-ton hook, the 1302-12K with a 7-ton shackle and 7-ton hook, and the 1303 with a 12-ton shackle and 11-ton hook. The 1310, 1320, 1330, 1325 and 1335 are supplied with a 6-ton pintle hitch. Replacement hooks and shackles are available separately by capacity, from a 2-ton swivel hook up to an 11-ton, and from a 2-ton bolted anchor shackle up to a 12-ton.

Do I need a low profile truss boom or a wide back truss boom?
Most extendable-reach forklifts take the standard low profile truss boom. A Wide Back truss boom is required for machines with an extra-wide quick-tach design: JCB Q-Fit, Gehl Dynacarrier, Bobcat VersaHandler and Ingersoll-Rand VR518, VR623 and VR638. For those machines order the 1325 at 12 ft or the 1335 at 15 ft — a Low Profile boom will not mount.
Which truss boom length should I choose?
Reach and capacity trade off sharply on the Star Industries truss boom. The 2 ft models carry 10,000 to 22,000 lb, the 6 ft 1306 carries 5,000 lb, and the 10, 12 and 15 ft models carry 2,000 lb. Take the shortest boom that reaches the work: choosing 15 ft when 2 ft would do costs most of the lifting capacity.
How much can the 1303 truss boom actually lift?
The 1303 is rated up to 22,000 lb structurally, and is supplied with a 12-ton bolted anchor shackle and an 11-ton swivel hook, which set the rated capacity of the assembly as delivered at 15,000 lb. The lower of the boom rating, the rigging rating and your forklift load chart at that reach is what governs the lift.
Does the truss boom come with a hook or a hitch?
Yes, and which one depends on the model. The 2 ft booms (1302, 1302-12K, 1303) are supplied with a bolted anchor shackle and a swivel hook with latch. The 10, 12 and 15 ft booms (1310, 1320, 1330, 1325, 1335) are supplied with a 6-ton pintle hitch. Replacement hooks and shackles are available separately by rating.
Does the truss boom rating mean my telehandler can lift that much?
No. The published load ratings are for the truss boom by itself and do not reflect actual forklift load capability. A boom moves the load centre well forward of the carriage, so the governing figure is your machine load chart at the height and extension you are working at.

The 1335 is listed as 12 ft Fixed — is it a 12 ft or a 15 ft boom?
The 1335 is a 15 ft Wide Back truss boom with 36 in effective height and 45 in back width. The checkout label reading 12 ft Fixed is a labelling error on the option, not a different product.

Returns
We offer returns and exchanges in limited circumstances as follows:
- In order to submit a return, you must contact us by email at support@eSkidsteer.com for us to confirm the items ordered are eligible for return or exchange;
- To be eligible for a return, you must commence the return process within 30 days of your item being delivered to you and:
- it must be unused, for example, once an item is hooked up to an attachment plate, hydraulic lines or electrical connection, it will not be eligible for return. Likewise, if your item shows any sign of use, which we may determine in our sole and absolute discretion, we will not accept the return;
- it must be in the same condition you received it in. You will be required to send us timestamped photos of the condition of your items as a condition to determine your eligibility for the return or exchange; and
- it must be returned in the same packaging or containers as it was received in.
We do not accept returns for products that were listed as final sale items at the time of purchase.
You agree to pay a 25% restocking fee on all returns, which we will deduct from any refund owing to you.
After the above referenced 30-day period, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange, under any circumstances.
If your return or exchange is approved, we will provide instructions on shipping your items back to us or the applicable supplier via email.
You agree that you shall be responsible for all return shipping costs and related expenses.

Lost or Damaged
If the item is damaged when you receive it, do not sign the proof of delivery, and contact us immediately at support@eSkidsteer.com. If you sign the proof of delivery form, you cannot later claim the item was lost (i.e. not delivered) or damaged on arrival.
If the item is damaged on arrival take photos of the damage with a time stamp.
In the event the item is lost or damaged on arrival, we will assist you with filing a reimbursement claim directly with the applicable supplier or shipping company as applicable. However, you agree that as we are not the direct supplier of the items, it shall be your responsibility to pursue any claims with the applicable supplier in the event your lost or damaged item is not replaced by the supplier or carrier.
