Q: What is the difference between manual and hydraulic angle?
Manual angle: the operator manually adjusts the drum angle to 20-25° before or after each pass — no additional hydraulic circuit required. Hydraulic angle: angle adjustment is hydraulic, controllable from the operator seat during operation — requires a second aux hydraulic circuit but allows on-the-fly angle changes. Select hydraulic angle for contoured or sloped terrain work. |
|
Q: Does the PR-480019 work on all mini skid steers?
Available in Mini Universal mount (for Toro Dingo, Ditch Witch, Vermeer, Boxer, Ramrod) and Bobcat MT mount. Confirm your machine uses one of these interfaces before ordering. |
|
Q: What is windrowing and when should I use it?
Windrowing means collecting processed material along the sides of the work area rather than leaving it spread flat. Install the spoil plates to direct debris and processed soil into a windrow as you work. Use for debris cleanup or when you need to collect displaced material for later removal. |
|
Q: Can this prepare soil for sod installation?
Yes — the bi-directional drum pulverizes and levels the top 2-4"" of soil, creating an ideal seedbed or sod bed. One to two passes typically achieve the fine, level grade required for professional sod or seed installation. |
|
Q: What is the working depth?
The soil conditioner typically penetrates 2-4"" depending on soil conditions and machine down-pressure. Contact eSkidSteer at 866-757-8337 for any questions. |
|
Q: Is a 60"" model available?
Yes — see the 60"" variant in the selector above, available in both manual and hydraulic angle versions with Mini Universal or Bobcat MT mount. |
