Here's a Genius idea. Why not allow people with Caterpillar attachments run them on their John Deere Skid Steer Loader? This adapter does just that. Just plug one end into your John Deere Loader and plug the other into your attachment equipped with an 8 pin connector. Turn on your machine and get to work. This is another Genius product. Note: John Deere 14 Pin outputs 6 switched ports. Caterpillar/ASV/Terex only outputs 4 ports. You will notice that this adapter has 5 pins installed. Up/Down & Left/Right are all that is available. This is a manufacturer limitation and not something that we have introduced.
ASV Users: PLEASE READ - The 8 pin side of this product was designed for Caterpillar ABC Series attachments which use Pins ABCDEH. To use this on ASV Attachments you will need to move Pin H to G for full operation. We supply the tools in the kit and instructions are in our Video section of the web site.
If you plan on moving a lot of pins on your attachment, please note that we supply free single use tools. If you want something more, please click below for the commercial version of these tools.
Both ends of this product are built to factory pin specifications with original factory parts. We cannot guarantee that your machine was ordered with all of the factory controls, nor can we guarantee that your attachment is pinned accordingly as well. This is especially evident with auction attachments or second hand items bought on the internet. We include tools and instructions on moving pins to make everything align.
