Important: E Series machines have a serial break. Units with serial numbers 269401 and below use D Series-style windshields, while units with serial numbers 269402 and above require a different configuration. Please verify your serial number before ordering.

OEM gaskets are frequently damaged when the original glass breaks. Before installing, inspect the cab frame gasket — replace if torn, hardened, or deformed. A properly seated gasket is essential for weather sealing regardless of door material.

Q: Will a thicker polycarbonate door still fit my OEM frame and latch?

A: Yes. Every thickness — including 3/8" and 1/2" — is cut to exact OEM dimensions and drops into the factory opening. The perimeter is edge-milled to OEM glass thickness so the panel seats in the factory gasket and frame. The latch area is counter-milled so the original latch engages and secures normally. No accommodation is required for the added thickness.

Q: Does the 1/2" panel fit the same as the original glass?

A: Yes. The 1/2" panel is edge-milled to OEM glass thickness at the perimeter and counter-milled at the latch. It drops into the same factory frame, seats in the same gaskets, and is secured with the same hardware. No extra hardware, shimming, or drilling required.

Q: Can I still use my windshield wipers?

A: Yes. SUPERCOAT™ is wiper-compatible. Inspect your wiper blade before use and clear any rocks, sticks, or debris from the frame seal. Trapped debris scratches any surface — this is standard wiper maintenance, not a SHIELDS® limitation.

Q: What does the 10-year warranty cover?

A: Manufacturing defects: breakage, coating failure, excessive haze, and excessive yellowing — up to 10 years from date of sale. Does not cover scratching from normal use, impact damage from operation, or improper installation.
