Here's a Genius idea. Why not allow people with Caterpillar D-Series attachments run them on their Bobcat Skid Steer Loader? This adapter does just that. Just plug one end into your Bobcat Loader and plug the other into your Cat D series attachment equipped with an 14 pin connector. Turn on your machine and get to work. This is another Genius product. Please read this and understand. This adapter is for older Bobcat machines or newer machines who have added a 14 pin kit. 100% of newer machines do not have 14 pin. They use CAN signal 7 pin connections. This product will not work. You will need to buy one of our 7 pin kits found here.

Note: Bobcat 14 Pin outputs 6 switched ports. Caterpillar D-Series only outputs 4 ports stock or 6 ports optionally. It is your responsibility to make sure you have enough buttons installed in your machine for this adapter to work. 2025 models include Pin K to Pin P for the newer Caterpillar 255/265 machines. Pins A & K are HF sense jumpers on Cat. You will see them in the attachment but it is not required for Bobcat wired machines.

Both ends of this product are built to factory pin specifications with original factory parts. We cannot guarantee that your machine was ordered with all of the factory controls, nor can we guarantee that your attachment is pinned accordingly as well. This is especially evident with auction attachments or second hand items bought on the internet. We include tools and instructions on moving pins to make everything align.

No. Newer Bobcat machines use a 7-pin CAN signal connector and do not support 14-pin operation unless a 14-pin kit has been added. If your machine uses a 7-pin system, you will need one of the dedicated 7-pin controllers.

Yes. 2025 versions of this adapter include a built-in K-to-P jumper for compatibility with the new 255/265 machines. While Cat attachments may show extra jumpers for high-flow sensing, they are not required on Bobcat-wired machines.
The adapter follows factory Caterpillar D-Series pin specifications. If your attachment has been repinned or modified, you may need to move pins to match the original Cat layout. Free single-use pin tools are included for this purpose.
No, the product includes free single-use pin tools. However, if you frequently repin connectors or work in a shop environment, a commercial-grade Deutsch tool is recommended for durability and speed.
No. Both ends are built using factory-spec components and the adapter is designed to operate safely with standard 14-pin wiring systems. When connected to compatible Bobcat machines and Cat D-Series attachments, it cannot damage the electrical system.
