The E-Series Skid Steer Lock slides around one of the loader drive control levers and locks it into a plate that is permanently fixed to the protective cage — with one control immobilised the most anyone can do is turn the machine in circles. It exists for the loaders the standard Skid Steer Lock cannot serve: JCB Robot, Kubota, Takeuchi and Thomas machines have no usable cage holes, so the E-Series is the only option on those four. The locking plate is secured with four non-reversing stainless steel screws, which means it stays on the machine rather than going home in a contractor toolbox. On an enclosed cab the locking plate mounts outside the cab and the 3/16 in mounting plate inside, so the glass still slides past it in normal operation. Order it Keyed Differently for a unique key, Keyed Alike to match a key code already in your fleet, or as a four-digit Combination Lock where several operators need access.

Because the plate is fixed with non-reversing screws, decide before installing which machine in the fleet it belongs to — it is not intended to be moved between loaders.

Should I order the E-Series Skid Steer Lock or the standard Skid Steer Lock?
Order the E-Series where the protective cage has no holes below the drive controls, or where you want the lock permanently attached to one machine. JCB Robot, Kubota, Takeuchi and Thomas loaders must use the E-Series. The standard Skid Steer Lock is the choice where the cage has holes and you would rather the bar was removable.
Does the E-Series Skid Steer Lock work on an enclosed cab?
Yes. On an enclosed cab the E-Series locking plate is installed on the outside of the cab and the 3/16 in mounting plate on the inside, so the glass slides past it in normal operation. A window must be open while the lock is installed.
Is the E-Series Skid Steer Lock permanently attached to the machine?
The mounting plate is. It is secured with four non-reversing stainless steel screws that cannot be backed out, which is what stops the mount being removed by the person you are locking out. The U-bar itself unlocks and comes away.
How many drive controls does the E-Series Skid Steer Lock immobilise?
One. The U-bar captures a single drive control lever, which leaves the loader able to turn in place and nothing more. The standard Skid Steer Lock captures both.
How do I choose between Keyed Alike, Keyed Differently and a combination?
Keyed Alike keeps your five-digit key code on file, so every Equipment Lock you buy afterwards can be cut to the same key — one key for the whole yard. Keyed Differently keeps no code on file and each lock is unique, which is the tighter choice when you want access limited to one machine. How do I set the code on the combination version of the E-Series Skid Steer Lock?
Combination units arrive set to 0-0-0-0 and you set your own four-digit code with the supplied key while the lock is open. There is deliberately no factory override code, so write the code down before you lock it — once it is locked with a forgotten code the internal components have to be replaced.
What does the E-Series Skid Steer Lock warranty cover?

Returns
We offer returns and exchanges in limited circumstances as follows:
- In order to submit a return, you must contact us by email at support@eSkidsteer.com for us to confirm the items ordered are eligible for return or exchange;
- To be eligible for a return, you must commence the return process within 30 days of your item being delivered to you and:
- it must be unused, for example, once an item is hooked up to an attachment plate, hydraulic lines or electrical connection, it will not be eligible for return. Likewise, if your item shows any sign of use, which we may determine in our sole and absolute discretion, we will not accept the return;
- it must be in the same condition you received it in. You will be required to send us timestamped photos of the condition of your items as a condition to determine your eligibility for the return or exchange; and
- it must be returned in the same packaging or containers as it was received in.
We do not accept returns for products that were listed as final sale items at the time of purchase.
You agree to pay a 25% restocking fee on all returns, which we will deduct from any refund owing to you.
After the above referenced 30-day period, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange, under any circumstances.
If your return or exchange is approved, we will provide instructions on shipping your items back to us or the applicable supplier via email.
You agree that you shall be responsible for all return shipping costs and related expenses.
Our shipping cost to you is not refundable.
You are also responsible for ensuring the items are carefully packaged for shipment and that risk of loss or damage during return shipping shall be your sole liability. You may wish to obtain insurance while the returned items are in transit.
Lost or Damaged
If the item is damaged when you receive it, do not sign the proof of delivery, and contact us immediately at support@eSkidsteer.com. If you sign the proof of delivery form, you cannot later claim the item was lost (i.e. not delivered) or damaged on arrival.
If the item is damaged on arrival take photos of the damage with a time stamp.
In the event the item is lost or damaged on arrival, we will assist you with filing a reimbursement claim directly with the applicable supplier or shipping company as applicable. However, you agree that as we are not the direct supplier of the items, it shall be your responsibility to pursue any claims with the applicable supplier in the event your lost or damaged item is not replaced by the supplier or carrier.
