The Drop-N-Go rack allows one operator to place the bit precisely and drive away — eliminating the second worker and the injury risk of the manual lift entirely.
• Ground storage keeps auger teeth sharp and drive unit clean between holes — lying auger bits on the ground exposes the carbide teeth to soil impact damage and the drive unit motor ports to dirt ingress. The rack holds the bit off the ground in a controlled orientation, protecting both the cutting teeth and the drive unit ports between drilling cycles.
• Extension tube storage on -42 models eliminates the second trip for extensions — when drilling deep holes requiring shaft extensions, the extension tube is typically a second piece that requires a separate material handling event. The -42 variant racks store the extension tube alongside the bit, reducing the cycle time per hole by eliminating the second trip to retrieve the extension.
• Rack transport on SSQA allows full auger bit kit to move with the skid steer — mounting the rack on the skid steer's SSQA allows the operator to drive from hole to hole with the bit rack mounted, retrieve the auger for drilling, and return it to the rack without leaving the machine cab on flat terrain.
